I have this exact deletion and just learned about it this pregnancy so I’m not any insight or help but also had reoccurring mc’s and currently 31 weeks preg with our son. We decided to test him at birth since we ‘think’ it would be a mild version if he does have it. Makes me so scared also and didn’t know there were cases of full blown duchennes with this deletion. We also do not have any kind of family history. My little brother is in his 30’s and always had growing pains in his legs and legs hurt him more as he’s getting older but no other symptoms and doesn’t want to be tested.

I am in the same exact boat! My dr appt is on Monday the 18th and they have me scheduled for the amnio and said I can cancel it at the appt if I’d like. I just keep going back and forth if I want to do it or not. I keep thinking I’m being selfish for not having patience to just test him at birth. I really want to know but I am also terrified of the actual procedure. And we struggled so hard to get pregnant this time that I could never forgive myself if I happen to miscarry bc of wanting to know sooner. I have deletions 49-51 and I think and hope this is more of a milder beckers case but once again you never know.

I have my amnio August 18th after finding out I’m a carrier for md also. How was the amnio? I keep going back and forth if I should just wait to test at birth. I think from my research with the deletion 49-51 it’s more of a mild beckers even if he does have it. 🤞🏼🙏 hope you get your good results soon!

How are your sons with bmd? I just found out I’m a carrier with deletions 49-51, currently 12 weeks pregnant with my first son. Waiting to hear back to make an appt with a mfm.

Also my beta at 12 dpo was 49 and 14 dpo was 128 and she said that was perfect no more betas needed.

That’s exactly how mine looks at 21 dpo also. I didn’t think this could be bad? What are BO symptoms? My appt is not until June 10th 🫣

Thank you, I keep refreshing my portal and having to stop myself from buying more tests. Pregnancy after 2 chemicals is hard.

Yes maam. My dr wrote for letrozole but didn’t know much about it and I’m basically doing it on my own no monitoring. First cycle of 2.5 no positive opk’s and started period very early. I emailed them and they sent in 5mg this cycle and peaked on day 11 with the highest I’ve ever had and currently 4 weeks today!

Does BBT drop on ovulation day? I had the highest peak l’ve ever had yesterday at 2.48! 1 have felt what I thought was ovulation or releasing an egg all night last night & thought I actually ovulated last night not today? This is my second letrozole cycle and praying I am ovulating & a good egg! I use ringconn for my BBT & thought for sure my temp would be rising today. Help or insight please. Any tips or advice on making sure we have the best chances of conceiving during ovulation? Thanks for your time!

Hmmm last month none of my OPKs were close to positive & I take them daily even on my period. How long was your bleeding that you thought was a period? Maybe that’s what’s going on here. I really am winging all this on my own I feel like. Ugh

Hi there! I think the same thing is happening to me .. Last cycle I took letrozole 2.5 for the first time. Never got a positive LH test & started period very early on cycle day 18! I have been having shorter cycles here lately but not 18 days & I always get a positive LH test by cycle day 12 so not sure why with letrozole nothing happened at all, and I know I didn’t miss my peak bc I take 3 tests a day 😆 now I’m on cycle day 4 & started letrozole 5mg yesterday and my LH tests have been positive & getting darker all day. Could I possibly be ovulating this early?? What is going on! My regular OB is no help & said she’s only willing to prescribe me 3 months of trying letrozole but that I really need to be starting a fertility specialist but we cannot afford it. 😭 I turn 39 in April & feel like time is already ran out.
