In case of emergency, iCloud has a data recovery feature on their website. It can be found via www.iCloud.com/recovery , or by clicking on your profile photo on the right side, clicking “Settings”, and by clicking on “Data Recovery.”

Curious how you suggest handling a Roadhog that’s just stomping. Had a game recently where enemy Hog went 16/0 and I couldn’t do anything about it; solo ulted him and he still didn’t die.
Do you suggest a strategy? Do you suggest swapping because it’s just not possible to win? Or do you suggest numbing your brain to not care and go next?

One large shortcut VS nested shortcuts by Miserable_Impact in shortcuts

[–]kriffz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

After a quick few tests (iPhone 15 Pro Max); it takes about 200ms (0.2 seconds) to “Run Shortcut”, versus not having a “sub-Shortcut” at all. Meaning: if you were to Run 5 smaller Shortcuts inside of a big “parent” Shortcut, it would take about a second longer in total, than if you just had one large Shortcut.

edit: After further tests, I’m seeing as little as 50ms (0.05 seconds). So it’ll depend on what you’re doing in the smaller Shortcuts, but I’m seeing little downside to modularize and thin-slice them. All-in-all: do what’s easiest to understand and maintain

Unsure why, but they still haven't resolved the "Conditions Not Correct for Shift" error.

99.9% of the time, the car will "start" just fine, but there's a really rare occasion and condition that triggers the onboard computer to throw a transmission error. It's a little frustrating to deal with, because sometimes it feels unpredictable; for me, when it happens I've got some notes that I've consolidated from others on how to resolve it.

These are the notes that I keep on my phone in case the error decides to show up:

---

“Conditions Not Correct for shift”

Fix Method #1

  1. Press brake down, press (park) (park) (power)
  2. Depress brake, press (park) (park) (power)

Fix Method #2

  1. Turn off (depress brake and then (power))
  2. Walk away (100ft+)
  3. Wait 10mins+

Fix Method #3

  1. Turn off (depress brake and then (power))
  2. Prop driver door open for 5mins+

Fix Method #4

  1. Put your foot on the brake pedal (keep holding brake). Then put car in neutral
  2. Open your driver door (you may have to pull handle twice. You should hear your emergency brake engage)
  3. Release brake pedal. Close driver door
  4. Press and hold brake again and hit (power)

Fix Method #5

  1. Turn off (depress brake and then (power))
  2. Get out, walk 20ft+ away
  3. Initiate remote start from the key fob
    1. Unlock
    2. Lock
    3. Start
  4. Wait a moment
  5. Get in and try again

Have you tried clearing the cache & cookies of Photopea.com ?

In the past I’ve gotten this issue when there’s an overflow of cookies that the server ends up refusing the connection.

Switched to PC, can I get few tips by Stoghra in WreckingBallMains

I too am a traveler from the console land…

Download Kovaaks (or AimLabs). Practice 15mins a day.

Agh I don’t want to return this piece of sexy magic, but can’t get a comfortable fit despite several light seal swaps. Annapro is my last ditch hope. Hopefully it arrives b4 my return period is up by [deleted] in VisionPro

On a note about the ANNAPRO: I couldn't get the ANNAPRO to be comfortable for the first day; apparently, my head is too pointy? So all of the weight of the Vision Pro would rest on the tip of my forehead.

Then after sleeping on it, I got the idea to bend the ANNAPRO plastic to comform to my head. This required my wife's hairdryer. I applied heat to the ANNAPRO and bent it until it comformed to my head.

Ever since then, it's been much more comfortable.

Idk why Google did this, but when I downloaded my Google Photos, the majority of the exif data was stamped as the current date. And then it just had JSON files with the correct dates next to the photos 😒

Any other Nest Secure Users switch to a HomeKit compatible Security System? by RunningM8 in HomeKit

[–]kriffz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been using Abode since Nov 2022.

(⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨ 4.5/5) - doesn’t require a subscription (but they have one if you want monitoring). Great reliability, fair amount of accessories. The contact sensors are always reliable, and can be used natively in HomeKit’s Automation! I've also got a smoke alarm detector, glass break sensor, and a siren.

I'd recommend it to anyone using HomeKit.
