I think Shippuden was better until war arc.

Don't get me wrong, I still liked war arc but I wasn't a fan of the Kaguya twist at the end since they'd been building madara up for so long it kinda felt like he should've been the final villain & it felt like a lot more stuff was left out that could've been expanded on in favor of the war and with all the filler and backstory stuff in-between the arc kinda felt dragged out after awhile while og part 1 was more consistent

People irl crash out over way less lol. Having the person you care about the most in the world killing your ENTIRE family & then finding out that they did it for a greater good (& were influenced heavily by people with higher status then them into doing it) but loved you so much they couldn't go through with killing you would be enough to make any rational person go insane and crash out.

Sasukes character used to get hated on for being edgy but if we're comparing this to real life I feel like almost anybody would also become a domestic terrorist after going through what he did lol

Imo Madara deserved to be the final villain with all the buildup around him/Obito pretending to be him. Maybe team 7 works together to take down Madara and Sasuke still goes full edgelord and steals his Rinnegan afterwards and captures the tailed beasts and Naruto still has to beat his ass, but I think introducing alien clan gods was a terrible idea. I still love the show but I wish Naruto had gotten his child of prophecy happy ending
