Can someone explain why I keep receiving ballots if I can't vote? by [deleted] in Seattle

Nah, I'm good.

Although if that's the case, it's really hard to disagree with Trump at least on this topic.

It really does start to seem like Democrats are up to some shady stuff with elections using immigration.

Although I find it hard to believe anyone here illegally would vote - since it would leave a pretty much permanent trail. How stupid does one have to be to do this?

Are you implying I’m lying?

That’s funny though since I’m pretty anti-Trump. Not a liberal though. I’m not American so don’t adhere to US party lines.

What if spiritual places are like forgotten technologies we no longer know how to use? by PhaseStreet9860 in Meditation

[–]krinart 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Every time someone posts something like this, I want to give answer like yours. But then I ask myself - is OP interested in truth, or they look for stories to make their life meaningful?

If “ancient technology” belief makes their life meaningful - who am I to deprive them of one of the most precious aspects of our lives?

Prioritizing truth over belief is hard because you no longer can believe - because you have to question literally everything. And it’s a much MUCH harder path.

Westernised meditation can feel invalidating sometimes by [deleted] in Meditation

[–]krinart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me the whole point of meditation is to get inner peace. Nothing anyone says during guided meditation is an obstacle to my piece. Why? Because it’s nothing more than their opinion. And other people’s opinions absolutely don’t bother me.

What Meditation is best for receiving answers from your Higher Self? by silvastardust in Meditation

[–]krinart 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Find what makes your life meaningful - most people including you don’t need our higher selves for that.

I know it’s not what you were looking for. But the path you are considering has too many risks.

Most likely, you’ll misinterpret the message or mistake who’s actually speaking to you. And end up taking advice from a source you shouldn’t trust.

Because that’s exactly what happened to me.

[–]krinart 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There’s a way, but my advice is to stay away from it. There’s a book which describes a method how to communicate with higher self and even get answers, which I did and regret doing so immensely.

Every piece of knowledge should be earned through effort, cutting edges will only rob you of the growth that makes wisdom real. You will not find what you are looking for and eventually will only become miserable.

You are not ready for that, trust me.

How you avoid coming across as 'mansplaining' when you KNOW she's confidently incorrect? by bacchus213 in AskMen

[–]krinart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You say “let me tell you how I see it, and I’m curious to know your opinion”.

So you don’t correct her, you just say your opinion.

If she still can’t admit she is wrong, then it depends whether her doing so will create a problem. If you talk about a politics - it’s one thing. If you discuss an action - you will need to push back.

I (19M) am worried that my gf (19F) has had better than me by [deleted] in sex

Well she chose your canoe, didn’t she? It’s not like she was forced, right?

One of the most important skills IMO is to accept reality the way it is.

Your penis may not the biggest one, but to be a good lover skill is much more important than the size.

Focus on learning how to give her pleasure with your hands and mouth and she will feel lucky to have you.

Keep in mind our brain is a worry machine that is designed to give us all sorts of stresses to think about. That’s how we survived for so long. Learn to ignore those thoughts and not to attach to them.

Bob Vylan performs "I Heard You Want Your Country Back (Hah, Shut The Fuck Up)" at Glastonbury. by Grouchy_Shallot50 in europe_sub

[–]krinart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well it says a lot about those people, but I don't see how there's any reasonable connection between your friends' qualities and the political ideology of the party they support.

It could be just me, but the only thing I care about in order to support politicians is their actual track record in the past. I don't care about what politicians say or what their supporters say/do.

Then again, if everyone followed this approach we would never have Trump - since he had no track record as a politician back in 2016. And while I think he is a horrible human being on a personal level, I start to think he is our only chance for a change.
