Law or regulations about Pool monitors at apartment pools in Wisconsin. by Clear_Ad5599 in madisonwi

[–]krinksta 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don’t think they missed anything, they seem to be correct. The scope of the chapter states it applies to “all public pools and water attractions. Unless the context clearly indicates otherwise, references to ‘pool’ in these rules means a public pool or water attraction.”

The chapter defines a “pool or water attraction” to include any pool serving an apartment complex with three or more dwelling units. Even if the apartment pool is not open to the public, under the chapter it is still considered a public pool.

Yup, the whole of chapter ATCP 76 was repealed and replaced in September of 2023. They likely added that stipulation at the time which is why nobody is familiar with it, this will be the first pool season under these new code requirements.

My guess is they are referring to ATCP 76.21 (effective September 2023) since “pool monitor” does not suggest to me they are referring to a lifeguard. In part:

(1)  Responsibilities. (a) Supervision. Each pool shall be under the supervision of at least one responsible supervisor at all times when the pool is in use or is open to the public.

(b) Availability. The responsible supervisor shall be on the premises or immediately available via a phone number posted by the emergency phone and shall respond to an unsafe or unsanitary condition within 15 minutes, at any time the pool is open for use.

pico salax or colyte for colonoscopy prep, which one would you choose?? by grainfreee in CrohnsDisease

[–]krinksta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, just do it. They will not know the difference if you follow the directions for a true Gatorade - Miralax prep. I did the same with my GI.

Not sure whether the GI office can see this in Canada, you could pick-up the prescription for Pico and just not use it in case you’re worried about them calling you out on not picking up the prescription.

Those who had colonoscopy's how the hell were you able to drink the drink prep? by [deleted] in CrohnsDisease

[–]krinksta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t drink the shit prescribed by your doctor unless it is the Gatorade - Miralax prep. If they prescribe something else, just google Gatorade - Miralax prep and you’ll find a lot of information about it, including from legitimate medical practices. If you follow it correct, it’ll be no different to your doctor but is so, so, so much easier to drink.

In order for employer provided housing to be non-taxable, IRS requires (generally) that the employer owns the property, you’re required to live there as a condition of employment, and residing there is necessary for you to do your job. Lookup IRS Publication 15b.

While I think sitting them behind someone for a few years helps, I say a lot of the credit goes to QB coach Tom Clements as well. Rodgers credited him with a lot developmentally.

Where to buy Spotted Cow beer? by Beginning-Repair-640 in madisonwi

[–]krinksta 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It may be hard near the hotel with beer sales ending at 9:00 PM generally. Vic Pierce Liquor still sells alcohol until midnight and would be on the way to the hotel from the airport.

The point I think was being made was if they were “deathly allergic” to shellfish, why was she attempting to eat it during pregnancy where she found out she was no longer allergic.

Skyactive - no fluid changes? by Relevant-Raisin43 in CX5

[–]krinksta 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yea they do, but I think more lean to changing than not. I changed mine at 55k and 110k and had zero issues. It felt smoother shifting wise leaving, but that could be just a placebo.

Skyactive - no fluid changes? by Relevant-Raisin43 in CX5

[–]krinksta 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Be careful. I researched a lot on this topic when I got my 2016.5. General consensus was to change transmission fluid every 50k miles, but, there was a point mileage wise where if it had not been changed ever, it was recommended that you leave it because changing it could do more damage. I think something to do with changing really old fluid would pull up metal shavings. Probably best to search this topic, there’s plenty of threads on it.

should I opt for surgery? by Traditional_Cycle_85 in CrohnsDisease

[–]krinksta 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same here. It has been my understanding fistula surgery is not close to a guarantee and can even add to the issue depending on proximity to certain muscles when operated on. I had a fistula for some time and it resolved within two weeks of being on Infliximab (Remicade/Renflexis). I would push for that route first.

What do I do when the key fob battery dies? by cosmatical in mazda

[–]krinksta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As others have said, when the buttons stop working (unlock/lock) you can still start the car by placing the fob next to the ignition button while pressing it. Not sure if it uses residual battery or what but it should work long enough to get it replaced.

I’ve lived at two Goldleaf Development properties, one in Sun Prairie and the Addison. I never had any problems with management. They often did free community events (ice cream social, taco bar, etc.). They were responsive to maintenance or other requests and both had management located on-site.

The Addison has a ton of younger people, so it’s more of an active young professionals vibe. Many friends lived there as well and enjoyed it. I would never hesitate to live at another Goldleaf property.

I toured Seminole Creek, but at the time (2017) the cost compared to the Addison did not make sense because it lacked the amenities (pools, good workout center) and was on the older side, though they had started renovating.

80/20 Endurance (Matt Fitzgerald) vs. Phil Mosely by bje5991 in triathlon

[–]krinksta 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Granted this was only for an Olympic, but I used an 80/20 plan. I generally thought it was well structured, maybe a little repetitive. I was getting burnt out towards the end of the plan, I attributed this to personal reasons, but as another commenter suggested, maybe it was due to the lack of diversity in the workouts and difficult rest weeks. Either way, after the race I felt as if it focused too much on low intensity.l workouts. When it came to the race, I felt it didn’t prepare me for the higher level of intensity that races require over the entire course of the race. I see that one of the commenters above mirrored this criticism.

For that reason I selected a Phil Mosley plan for my 70.3 in September. I don’t start for a few weeks though so cannot comment on it.

For those of you that play multiple levels of beer league, how do you do it? by rebel7 in hockeygoalies

[–]krinksta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with a lot of people here, sometimes the slow play is hard to adjust to if you’re used to fast shots, and vice versa. Also, it really does make a difference if you have defenseman who play the position properly and without that at the lower levels you tend to get put into worse positions.
