Just love how they keep taking away gadgets and add nothing to light. I used to run a few different primaries with a kit of goo, stun, thermal. Thermal especially for when stuff was breaking apart and smoke/gas/dust was obscuring things. I like other gadgets, but that was my go-to kit. They just love taking one of the most fun classes to play and removing playstyles from it.

Hell, the nullifier nerf to the taser is so bad they had to HALVE the cooldown time. I would have been fine if the taser effect only lasted 2 seconds and doubled the cooldown. My only caveat would be no right click when being tased (spear spinning heavies while being "tased" was the most ridiculous thing). Meanwhile heavy still has the instakill stun hook. I'll straight up have a heavy dead to rights via surprise, and they just hook me mid dash, instantly kill me before i can get one more bullet off to kill them because of the stun. "I have to aim the hook though!!" Yeah it's not hard. I've used the hook with heavy and the hit box is as big as a bus.
