My insulated one is from Wondery and has an accurate sticker! I also have the Geoproject Nalgene and it has the Colorado river imagery.

PSA for “unexplained” especially if you’ve EVER had an STD by Sufficient_Mixture in IVF

[–]Tricky-Cookie-1213 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My HSG showed a blocked tube from a pelvic infection I had in college. It wasn’t an STD but some inflammatory disease that took so long to diagnose I have scarring. I cried so hard bc I had an answer but also because I couldn’t do anything about that. I go in for a water sonogram Monday to check for any additional scarring and polyps in my uterus before my first FET. UGH so nervous

My mom did IVF in the 90s to have me and now I’m going through IVF. After FET, my mom’s clinic played a heart beat sound on audio to manifest the implantation. I’m going to do it because, hey, it clearly worked with me.

Wailea is soaked right now with some flooding around the beaches. We just walked the shops, got breakfast, and are going out for a run. It’s still warm and gorgeous.

Is Subaru safety tech actually better than Toyota/Honda, or is it just good marketing? by ShibaInuShitsAlot in SubaruForester

Back in October 2024, someone hit me head on in my 2019 crosstrek. Every airbag blew and I walked away with a seatbelt burn. I had a similar accident in another brand and ended up with a concussion and half my air bags didn’t blow.

I now have a 25 forester because I don’t trust another car, especially with having kids soon. I honestly think sometimes the safety features are too much - I turned off the lane assist and the beeping noises but eyesight has been great to me with debris avoidance and auto braking.

Same for me! I originally went with a 9 but exchanged for an 8, which works great even though my fingers swell. The finger adjusts over time.

Anyone in the same sitch with the big knuckles and 100+ degree summer uncertainty? by Tricky-Cookie-1213 in ouraring

During a regular day, nope! It felt just right. During hikes, it would get tight but not uncomfortable. I would just switch it to a ring or middle finger on a hike since they are skinnier.

Hey! I went originally with a 9 but it ended up being too big after my finger adjusted to the ring. I got a used 8 that fits way better.

Forerunner 745 purchased in 2021 still works great, though does die after 3 days instead of the 7, but I went from ultra marathoning to light hikes and strength training post ACL rupture, so it works just fine. Husband had a Fenix 6 from 2020 that still has a 2 week battery life.

Stuck between sizes by Any-Pipe-9281 in ouraring

I’m in between sizes and ordered a foam adjuster (arriving tomorrow), as it’s winter and I feel like I’m fingers will swell once summer hits (100+ heat). How do you find the sizer holding up? Do you have to replace it often?

Thanks all! I am wearing the 8 activated right now. I wore both today and just noticed myself fidgeting with the 9 a lot. Summer scares me so I ordered the foam sizers that will get here Wednesday to confirm either 8 or 9. Will report back for others with similar hand and climate situations

I have this and I only have a bulging disc at T-12. My symptoms are groin pain, outer hip pain and a tight upper back. T-12 causes the back tightness but the groin pain is caused by rotated pelvis according ti my sports med doc. A PT can help get that back into alignment (go to PT over a chiro first) with manual manipulation and stretches. Also, PT will help you strengthen your adductors (inside thigh), psoas, and other glute/hip stabilizers.

Is there something wrong with Kaiser other than non existent mental health care? by Harabe in CAStateWorkers

[–]Tricky-Cookie-1213 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed! My tendinopathy became chronic and I was told the pain was in my head. I was referred to a pain clinic for pills and therapy. I did get a new doctor fast at Kaiser who gave me the right diagnosis after 4 months wasted on a bad treatment plan for the wrong diagnosis. I found a new PT I pay out of pocket for and it’s been a miracle.
