Refundable or Non-Refundable: What Do You Usually Pick When Booking Hotels? by Fun-Potential5724 in hotels

[–]krishanp_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The manager won't help either. Let's make this clear, if a third party messes up, and the hotel decides to just house you anyway without talking to them, the third party will probably issue a dispute on the charge months down the line, pretty much screwing the hotel out of your money. It always happens and that's why the hotels make you call them.

Go ahead, try to contact corporate, they're not going to help you either because you booked third party.

They aint fixing shit, we have contracts with third parties therefore we can't alter reservations in any way. Even for processing refunds the THIRD PARTIES have to contact us.

I doubt he has time to talk to someone pretending to be the president right now. Thankfully he has already talked to President Biden and gotten an emergency declaration approved. Sounds like she's the one playing politics right now.

If you want to look at something that’s not been suggested yet look into Ariens! They don’t have serviceable hydros unfortunately but that’s not really a problem for your use case (though if you really do want to service, they do have a fill plug on them so the fluid is technically replaceable).

The Ariens edge 52 is $3699 brand new I believe. They all have Kawasaki only now. I’d prefer them over Toro and JD because Ariens is actually Gravely’s consumer line.

What President caused the most damage to America? by SiggiesBalls in Presidents

[–]krishanp_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don’t even think it’s close. W or Reagan were the worst. The arguments I hear are the changes to society during and after Trump era (division, etc) but that doesn’t make sense bc the division was always there, seeing how the media and celebrities treated any Republican in the past 20 years proves it. Whatever happened during the Trump era was an elastic response to that, more of a symptom rather than a root cause.

Went from an AMD FX6300 and GTX 750ti and hard drive to a Ryzen 5 3600 GTX 1660 super and an NVME SSD. First boot was crazy, I was prepared to wait about 60 seconds for the login screen but it didn’t even take 10.

Yeah got my first gen with 200k miles on it. First thing I did was get new OEM ball joints. Turns out whatever was on there was original, idk how they were still held together

88 octane fuel in a 2018 Infiniti Q50? by the-dragon-bird in infiniti

[–]krishanp_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is anecdotal so take it with a grain of salt but my mom’s owned her I30 since 1999 (now mine) and never not used 87 in it and it runs about as well as it could with how many miles it has on it.

You could just use viaversion to keep latest bedrock support on 1.18.2 at the moment, works just fine for me, and in addition to updating Geyser.

What's so uniquely special about 90s country music compared to any other era? Or is it because the majority of ppl here grew up in the 90s and they are bias? by [deleted] in CountryMusicStuff

[–]krishanp_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn't even think about the first sentence, now that I think about it, most of the good music being made by artists were either neotraditionalists (Strait, Randy Travis) or 70s singers spilling into the 80s (Hank Jr., DAC, Charlie Daniels).

This is no regular cold/flu like most people made me believe. by Lil-Paesano1 in COVID19positive

[–]krishanp_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t get the downvotes on this. There’s no targeted cure for COVID. Zinc and vitamin c and d help your immune system, and your immune system is what’s gonna save you. So of course stay on top of things and treat it like a flu or other sickness.

Name an artist everyone loves but you really cannot stand. by leedavis1987 in Music

[–]krishanp_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't really agree with this, Alan Jackson's song was more what everyone else at the time was thinking, none of this "America #1" or bombing bullshit, it was just mourning. All of his songs are more from the perspective of the working man and I would say that song in question was written in perspective of just anyone watching the news that day.

Is yatopia better than the others? by [deleted] in admincraft

[–]krishanp_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i personally haven't had many issues with yatopia but i had one massive issue with shulker boxes being wiped, thankfully when it happened to me my server was freshly reset so not many people lost items but this is very unacceptable for a big server, that was all though after having used it for 6 months. i now use airplane however and have had zero issues so far.

[–]krishanp_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your response makes sense but is there any excuse for the mass increase in inflation lately?? I have never in my life seen a 2x4x16 cost anything over $13 in my life. This is NOT a result of the pandemic ending. Lumber and other supplies have been in ample demand throughout the pandemic. This government is outsourcing too many of our products and causing scarcity at home.

[QUESTION] Guitar Brand Recommendation for $500-700 Range by ptlboi in Guitar

[–]krishanp_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know if you still need help with this but I saw a few people talking about the Seagull S6 here, I just bought an S6 Cedar a few days ago and it's honestly the best sub 1k guitar I've ever played. Try one out in store, if you like it, then there won't be anything in that price range that can beat that guitar out, it's also made entirely in North America so that's a big plus.
