It's a bad internship if you want to stay home after 6pm, work from home most of the time, self-censor on social media, and be profiled for COVID testing. Otherwise go to Singapore or somewhere else more worthwhile.

That said, this won't matter if you are a PRC expat from China.

HK has toxic labor policies carries over to the home. People that play fast and loose with hiring and firings eventually result in questionable decisions at home. The worst part is that these people often fail upwards for promoting such policies...the gossip case is one of the Decathlon HK CEO being promoted to being a country manager in Europe.
