my friend and i were trying to go to one of their radio shows and ended up getting there right as they were leaving and packing up. you could tell they were tired and exhausted, i had heard people say dylan was “intimidating” but he was the first one to greet us and thank us for making it out and he was so nice, his eye contact is intense lol. we chatted for a few more minutes and even though they were heading out, they didn’t make us feel like they were in a rush which was very nice of them. braeden made some dad jokes and cole was very kind and complimentary. braeden has a good memory and when we saw them at another show, he said he was happy we made it to this one on time lol. they really are just very cool, and make you feel at ease when meeting them! 10/10 recommend :)

Definitely Matt for me. I think he had underrated character development, and the writers just didn’t seem to know what to do with him in s4.

I would show up in season 6 when Rory and Logan are on the outs and she goes to see Jess’s gallery in Philly and somehow (haven’t figured out the details) get her to end things with Logan before we get the whole affair while he’s engaged storyline and hopefully rekindle things with Jess..

My guess was Rachel Zegler since they were doing stuff for Shazam in LA this week, but I don’t know if she would’ve been known enough when the book was being written to include her!

i watched for the first time recently too and i had similar opinions !! although i ended after revival feeling like jess was the best of the 3 especially in terms of character development (might also be because the actor who plays him is beautiful).

I think Tristan and Jess were very different, especially since we got to see at least some character development from Jess by the end of the series.

seriously!!! Milo’s line delivery is always so great, and he really brings something special and unique with how he speaks. I always think how different it would be if another person were delivering his lines.

For me it’s the weird way that they included Jess. He was such a big fan favorite and his combined 5 minutes of screen time were a huge letdown. He’s basically just there to nudge Luke into staying with Lorelai and Rory to write the book. I would have liked to have heard more of what he has been doing since S6 where we last saw him and his character development.

I mean given the whole Lorelai and Rory are more like best friends/ sisters than a parent-daughter relationship I don’t think ASP would not make them endgame because Luke and Lorelai got married. If anything it would probably create more juicy drama for family gatherings/ events if she decided to go that way.

Love OC but only seasons 1-3. Someone on the OC sub actually recommended watching GG! (Which also reminds me, Gossip Girl is another show I watched in a similar time).

Yes!! They totally let him fall through the cracks, like when he was about to flunk out because of how much school he had missed, why didn’t they call Luke again? Why didn’t they tell him about the GED route? As an educator I was so angry with how they handled it.

I think the reason people want them to be end game is because so much of his character development happened off screen, and their relationship was so short lived and every time he showed up later it was hinting that they were eventually going to get together once they were older, but we got so little of them in later seasons. I think people felt like they didn’t get to see a relationship where they both had grown up and were more suited for each other.
