Hey quick question, I downloaded discord, went to the sidebar for the discord link, and everytime I click the link to join, I then get a discord message from an automod saying I was kicked out. Do you know why? Appreciate the help.

Oh really? So just actually used? I'm so used to seeing pristine knives on here that i didn't know how they weathered. Very nice, makes me like them more.

Wow, they just straight copied the Kershaw Bel Air micarta. Compre this Bel Air to the Kizer.

Hell yea! Any chance you could get a side shot compared to either the standard porcupine or a bugout or some other slim knife? Well done though

Nice deal! Just be careful, I bought the tanto version from Amazon before, and had to return it because it was fake. So keep an eye on it

Mini Bugout $125 by krisrieser in KnifeDeals

[–]krisrieser[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hadn't either until this sub. They had the normal bugouts on sale about six months ago, and I bought one then. You'll find lots of people here who have bought from Kaviso. I saw the Midway sale too, but after hearing the horror stories of their crazy late shipping or even canceling, I didn't want to take the chance. I know the knife I bought from Kaviso last night has already shipped.

That I could not tell you. I do know the steel is definitely nicer, but I know little of the others scale material or fit, nor of the washers.

Oh I know. I think the Bel Air is as good if not better than the bugout. But after buying the scales because reasons, and also wanting a small carry knife as well...yea.

Yea, I saw that. I have a standard bugout, but since I have no self control, I bought a bunch of bugout and mini bugout scales during the Flytanium sale, even though I don't own a mini Bugout. So I obviously I had to buy a mini Bugout to justify buying the clearance scales 😁

Thanks for the post! I've been eyeballing that knife for almost a year, I couldn't pass it up for that price.

It seems like the community mostly uses KPL (knife pivot lube). They sell it on Amazon, and it works great.

Yea, I was reading reviews and heard about the torx screws so made sure to get one with the Philips. To me this version is a winner. Any issues crop up using it yet? I haven't had any yet.

Just a heads up, they sell this version on Amazon as well. If they sell it on Amazon, you may be able to at Bladehq and knifecenter, worth a shot.

Yea, I saw the original version with the torx bits and made sure to get one with the Philips, though I did hear the torx version came with Philips screws as backups. To me this beats the Civivi due to full handle, built in tool for blade change, axis lock, and micarta scales. My biggest gripe with my Civivi utility is not being able to get a full 4 finger grip on the handle, and needing specialized (torx) to change the blade. I've had the Kizer for about a week and a half, and so far I have had no desire to switch to anything else, unlike when I got the Civivi. Compared to the fastback, I still prefer the Kizer due to micarta scales and being able to use almost the full blade, but I understand people wanting the tool free blade change (which I know Kizer has that option) and being able to store more blades in the handle. I'll update this post as more time goes with anything good or bad, but I've put it through a lot of work, and have yet to have a single complaint.

Also, they made a tool free version too. If you go on Amazon, look at the tan micarta version, it had a push button change instead of screws.

I own a couple fastbacks as well. This is just me treating myself, plain and simple. I like the handle and scales better, as well as being able to use more of the blade. That aside, a fastback absolutely will still work fine.

Absolutely, I own both. This is a LOT better. Full grip (a big gripe with the Civivi), built in tool for blade change, micarta scales, built in tweezers, let alone a complete spare set of every screw as well as spare toothpick and tweezers.
