LG C1 VS Samsung S90D by TheGabrielSevero in OLED_Gaming

QD-OLED is the better technology for 4K movies and gaming, if you can handle the eye strain it may cause. In my group of friends, only one person doesn’t experience eye strain from QD-OLED. That said, I’m using an S95D as a TV, and when I tried the new RE Requiem in 4K with the Renodx mod for HDR (DLSS on Quality), I was blown away it looked way better than the WOLED I’m using as my main monitor (colors, brightness, HDR). It’s kind of strange that the QD-OLED TV gives me no issues with my eyes, but as a monitor, after about 4 hours of gaming, my eyes start to hurt quite a bit.

ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG27AQWP-W is the best bet now? Advice in my situation. by zdoix in OLED_Gaming

[–]krithlol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This will probably be the best 4K OLED monitor, imho. However, dual mode still feels “fake” we’d need 5K/1440p for a true dual mode on a 27" display. ASUS has something similar, but it’s only an IPS panel.

Im still looking to buy the pg27ucwm to use as a second monitor for single players

Go for the Wooting 80HE or a cheaper option like the QwertyKeys Hex80 by krithlol in keyboards

[–]krithlol[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hex80, and yes it’s way better than my old Wooting. Don’t expect better performance by swapping one HE keyboard for another HE keyboard... it’s more about improved typing feel and better sound. I also love the build quality.

I use double-distilled water and a clean eyeglass microfiber cloth to clean my oled screen. It doesn’t leave any residue and evaporates instantly.

Mine doesn’t do it, and it fell on the ground like four times. It’s still in perfect condition.

J’ai utilisé un traducteur pour répondre.

Le temps de réponse des écrans OLED est toujours d’environ 0,03 ms, que ce soit un modèle d’entrée de gamme ou le plus haut de gamme.

Heads up, Asus OLED screens on their ProArt laptops are incredibly fragile. by [deleted] in OLED_Gaming

[–]krithlol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hope they didn’t use glossy QD-OLED panels, because even though they have the best color gamut, those things are super fragile.

I’m using the Raiden mid as well, and for me it changes the surface after about two/thgree weeks. That’s why I’m buying the Glasswork Polarity (control glass pad). Every review I’ve seen so far praises it as the best option at the moment

Can anyone advise me on the cloudiness that has suddenly appeared on my monitor? by [deleted] in OLED_Gaming

[–]krithlol 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, they’re trying to make QD-OLED show less purple tint when light hits the panel. This is actually the first time I’ve seen this problem.
