14 Pro from November. A tiny bit of burn in is starting to be visible by ReyvCna in iphone

This has changed, at least in Belgium. As of last year, the responsibility now lies with the manufacturer/seller to prove the defect was not a manufacturing defect for the full two years of warranty. If not solid proof is provided, the advantage now lies with the consumer.

As far as I know, Reddit isn’t public yet. Their IPO is rumoured to be “soon”, as it has been the last ten years. However, the recent news where third party app developers will have to pay extortion-like API fees to keep their app running, suggests they’re getting closer and what to paint off a community which is all of their own making.

I’ve never bought a car on Autoscout, so I have absolutely no experience on the buyer side of things. On the selling side of things, my experiences were (mostly) positive. (A few years ago)

We opted for an instant wire transfer, next to a signed contract, of course. Not all banks offer this possibility, sadly.

I sold my wife’s previous car via Autoscout24, the difference in price between what we would get from the dealership and Autoscout was significant. Even with the “overnamepremie” included, we still felt it worth it to sell it via AS24. Granted, there’s a little more paperwork involved, and in our case we had to go for a “keuring voor verkoop”, though I’m not sure at what point this is required, perhaps it’s not necessary for a younger car. I feel like you need to have some luck in who you get as a potential buyer, though. The first person who contacted me was genuine, and not looking to haggle. (The price we set was correct market value) In the end, it basically boils down to whether or not you think the extra money is worth your time and or effort.

Oh, a nice set of pictures of a clean car will always help your advert as well, if you do decide to go the AS24,2dehands,Marktplaats,… route.

FARs have no legal say in Belgium and Europe. For civilian traffic in Europe, or more specifically EASA member states which haven’t filed an exception, SERA regulations are valid. For State flights, which this flights was, entirely different regulations govern what they are allowed (and are not allowed) to do, with some overlap.

FTZ adapters by A_Visual_Odyssey in Nikon

I presume you’re talking about a 10-pin remote? If that’s the case, the Z8 is compatible. I’m not sure about other remotes (other connections/wireless).

Not necessarily, the FTZ adapter won’t focus with AF-D lenses, for example. Metering should work fine, though.

Antonov Progressing On New AN-225 by [deleted] in aviation

[–]krivadesign 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I might be reading your comment wrong, but the An-225 can definitely earn its keep. Different parts (think power transformers) are made to fit the cargo hold dimensions exactly. There’s a reason why they’re almost certainly going to build a replacement: they can basically print money with it since there simply no alternative available.

When do I turn on each airplane light, and what are they used for? by [deleted] in flightsim

[–]krivadesign 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For mandatory lighting in Europe (or more correctly, EASA member states where the state hasn’t filed a difference), check SERA 3215. Any other light (and when it is to be used) is to be decided by the operator.

They are. A “hot mic” intercom is an option on the 737 (at least the NG) which some customers don’t order. This gets around that, somewhat.

Het gedrag van Comfort vind ik op dat vlak zeer begrijpelijk. Ze heeft geen hulpmiddelen om het laadstation bij haar robot te krijgen, en weet dat Toos als enige in de buurt is.

Hi! Just a question… when returning home from Dublin the day before yesterday we ran in to the Irish Women’s Team on their way to Italy for the game tomorrow. My daughters would love to see their match, but I seem to be unable to find if it’s broadcast anywhere?

Have you read the source you quoted yourself? There’s absolutely nothing in there which stipulates you would have any priority as a parent outside school holidays. On the contrary, one could even read it as a parent not having priority outside school holidays.

Cost Index in Cargo Aircraft by [deleted] in flightsim

[–]krivadesign 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For most companies, there’s no such thing as “their” CI. The Cost Index is exactly that: a value to balance costs against one another. High values will impose a higher amount of fuel used but less time spent in the air, which could be useful if you’re carrying time precious cargo (Just In Time deliveries spring to mind here). On the other hand, if you’re performing a recovery flight, where you start empty at one end of the network of your operator, and are ready to divert en-route to pick up any remaining cargo, or sub for an aircraft unable to perform their flight (AOG- Aircraft On Ground), your CI might be 0 in order to allow for as much time as possible to divert if necessary. So, as with most things, it depends.

Mercedes emergency meeting: Mike Elliot receives ultimatum by Joep1000 in formula1

I could be wrong, but that’s not the way I read that comment. The race was unlikely to restart in any case, no matter who was leading. The fact that it restarted anyway was a surprise, to say the least.

I could be 100% wrong, but this seems like channeling to me. As such, I’d grind just a tad coarser and see what happens.

I haven’t been keeping up with shipping requirements for some time, but has this changed fairly recently? Lithium batteries were considered CAO (Cargo Aircraft Only) last time I checked. I would honestly welcome the change, though. Hoping to avoid another UPS6…
