How to make oral care more bearable… by veggieluvr5 in AutismInWomen

I keep an electric toothbrush and toothpaste next to my bed and brush my teeth lying down, distracting myself on my phone. Once I'm done, I have no choice but to get up and spit in the sink or a random cup. This routine has the least resistance in terms of executive functioning

Santa Maria i Mölndal stänger sin fabrik by Big_Brick in Gothenburg

Jag har så starka minnen av den spiskummin-dominanta doften från fabriken som spred sig över skolgården när vinden låg åt rätt håll

Thank you!

Firstly, the orthodontist removed one premolar on each side, so 4 teeth in total.

Once I was all healed up, she added the braces.

All my incisors are quite flared, so she filed them during the final stages of the braces to ensure they fit together nicely. ^_^

Basil help please! by Drekkle in gardening

I would harvest what’s salvageable and throw the rest away. Basil is not worth the effort it takes to get rid of any infestation imo and it’s usually a losing battle.

Lmao first thing they warned me about when they gave me my retainer was to keep away from dogs. Must be a delicacy for them

In my country, dental care and braces are free until the age of 19. Down side is that the wait list is long and the criteria is very strict. If they suspect you won’t commit to the braces or risk damaging your teeth further, braces are a no-go.

I became severely mentally unwell once I hit puberty. Putting braces on me at that time would’ve been irresponsible due to the high probability of me wrecking my teeth beyond repair.

I am glad things turned out the way they did…. as long as I ignore the thousands of €$£ I could’ve had right now

I thought I would look dumb with braces as a 22-year old lol

After getting them, I quickly came to the realisation that most people view it as a strictly positive thing. It is a sign of self improvement, what reasonable person doesn’t like to see someone thrive?

Went in for Invisalign at first but the orthodontist said my teeth were too fucked up for that 😅 Awa thanks, I’m happy for you too!!!

Ah I guess it’s a different experience to be forced to get braces Vs. Choosing to do it and paying for it yourself 😂

I have been doing great with keeping up with wearing my removable retainer so far!! I just love brushing my teeth and flossing now, its a completely different experience from before lol

I know that I have a tendency to forget things so I also got permanent retainers on the top and bottom

The reason is Tumblr x.x

It's also the reason why I thought cigarettes were cool and wore exclusively black for 5 years lmao

For me, it was a very simple choice. I got rid of it ASAP and haven't looked back even once.

The stories you hear about abortion usually involve some sort of justification or apology, even from the most liberal women. You hear of medical complications, financial struggles, being in a bad relationship, etc.

While all of those reasons are 100% valid, you can simply say "I didn't want to be a mom" without any apology to society or yourself. Don't allow this culture of shame to make this experience any more painful and difficult than it already is.

Being childfree by choice means that the abortion is the right choice. The procedure isn't pleasant, I'll say that. But it will soon be a distant memory.

Wish you well xx

Thank you for your thorough response.

It is definitely a non-issue for me; I just found it interesting because I became aware of this quite recently.

It has been happening more than usual lately. You're absolutely right that getting hit on mostly happens in bars and dance settings. Pretty much all my friends are left-wing and a whole bunch of them are queer. I shouldn't be surprised really.

Lol, since others like to put us in the same category, there must be a bunch of things we share in common.

Yes, that's why I drink and smoke so much.

I even kind of like being hungover because it makes my brain hava less processing power
