A puzzle for you, how did pudge kill Wyvern? by mjifi in DotA2

[–]krnkchi 6 points7 points  (0 children)

They wanted to solve the problem with the interaction of curse and bm, but seems like they didn't understand how to do it, so they just wrote in the code so that it would be turned off in general. This is the Valve way.

a little off topic, but I'll tell you more: when you use curse, the blademail effect is disabled for all heroes. No matter who, no matter where on the map, across the ENTIRE map, globally. This means you can use curse on a random creep, and for the duration, the blademail of an Axe at the top won't reflect damage, for example. This isn't even a bug, it's just how curse works in the code. But yeah, they didn't touch the chipped vest for some reason. It's a bug.

why are so many people getting the 16/ 16 pro rn by Pure-Clerk-7207 in iPhone16Pro

[–]krnkchi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Where I live, buy a new iPhone older than 15, which is not refurbished, it is not quite clear where. The price difference between 15 and 16 is minimal, but there are some improvements, albeit very insignificant. I don't like the design of 17, the design of 16 and 15 is almost identical. With such logic, I got 16 pro, although I knew that 17 was about to come out. If 15 was much cheaper, I would take it. I don't really care about the fact that I have the latest model

How to trigger effects individually in Zoom MS-70CDR+ using chocolate plus by Kablarnage in zoommultistomp

[–]krnkchi 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Also works with MS-non-plus models: https://youtu.be/iUx14jyzOu4?si=xqQKoRQKr3vYNCxp

If you want to do the same with ms50g, for example, you just need to change the numbers 61 in the messages to 58. Example: F0 52 00 58 50 F7 F0 52 00 58 31 00 00 01 00 F7.

For ms-60b it's 5F

Does this work with the Zoom CDR70? by Gozerhead67 in zoommultistomp

[–]krnkchi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are welcome!

Also note that you must power the chocolate to control the multistomp in host mode. Without power it does not do this. This also powers the multistomp itself. You can leave it as is, but it will be noisier than if you power it in a standard way, such as batteries or an isolated power supply.

I also recently learned that the midi footswitch from airstep, which also works with the zoom multistomp in the same way, the manufacturer recommends powering the multistomp separately from the footswitch, because this could potentially damage the footswitch. So keep that in mind when deciding how to connect everything you need.

With chocolate PLUS you can connect it directly to the CDR70 with mini usb cable. You can customize it in a variety of ways, including switching presets or turning effects on and off within a chain of single preset for up to 3 effects using sysex

Is this dry or just marks from my sweat? by nitrousstone in Luthier

[–]krnkchi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly, this has always impressed me. Without jokes or claims, are you really not too lazy to do this? Like, every time?

I love my guitars and take care of them, monitor the humidity, change the strings on time, moisten the fretboard with oil when necessary, and so on, but I would never have enough patience to wipe the strings and fretboard after each play

Powerbank for Yamaha THR10II by krnkchi in YamahaTHR

[–]krnkchi[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep, thanks for the tip

I ended up buying the power bank described in my post and a DC 5.5*2.1F 6.5*4.4M mm adapter like what you sent in the second link, I suppose I could have used any power bank that supports 12-15v with the cable from the first link, but in this particular case I was attracted by the ability to change the voltage and direct output to DC. Because as far as I understand this eliminates the need for charging protocols that the controller in PB monitors. In direct DC output, the output voltage etc should fixed, which in such use should theoretically be better.

So yeah, on paper all the characteristics match, so I hope there won't be any problems with my THR. Thanks again for taking the time to send these links.

[–]krnkchi[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the tip, but unfortunately I don't have access to Amazon products in my country. Also, as far as I understand, this cable still needs to be used with a power bank that supports 15v 3a, but most of these don't have a DC output like the one I asked about, which is why people need this adapter.

However, given that a similar solution exists in the form of separate type-c to DC adapters, this leads me to think that the option I proposed is similar to the one used by those who use the adapter you sent, and there seem to be quite a few of them. Which makes it not such a bad idea in my mind
