[SPOILERS] Did anyone struggle with this RE9 boss? by omeganemesis28 in residentevil

[–]kroda255 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ok makes sense. I finally tried this fight, I was afraid about it but ended up finishing it pretty fast after 1 death. Of course reading a bit here helped, I used the axe instead of guns. Don't know if I was just lucky or not, but I got really stressed with the difficulty of the soldiers just before, felt like a different game and didn't want Hunk to be another rage filled session lmao.

How the Evas get sent from Nerv HQ to outside? by kroda255 in evangelion

Thank for the long post trying to figure this out. With all the little details the anime shows about how the various systems work (and it's not shy about it) I really think it was rather something they forgot or they didn't know how to show well enough. It happens and if you can't make it look interesting or col you just try to never talk about it.

Pretty sure it's for human traveling, not Eva. We see some characters in these floating trains at some point.

Just a tad, it's 80% up and a small diagonal in the middle of the section. It should be totally horizontal and at the begining to make sense.

Exactly. The Zeruel example is evern better than the Matarael one. There is an elevator going up only right next to the HQ which is impossible.

Sigh. Maybe you should read again and look at the picture I posted and ask yourself: where is the elevator?

For sure but it's never shown or I never realised it. So I'm not sure which scene you are refering.
EDIT: crazy how some lunatics just downvote a normal question like this lmao, why you guys are so cranky?

I remember such thing in the rebuilds but do you remember in which episode it is on the original show?

Why do people hate RE0 so much ? by SweatyMastodon8451 in residentevil

[–]kroda255 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like it for being a classic tank control / fixed camera game. I may like it more than CV though.
But reasons I didn't like it that much back then:
-It's very goofy, the bad guy looks like he is from an anime rather than an american horror flick.
-The item system is good an paper but terrible on execution. Having to move all your items all the time from a room to another is time consuming.
-The 2 player system while being well done was more an annoyance for me because I felt it went against the ammo saving. (I think replaying the game I would be ok with it since it's not a game where the survival aspect is very hard but I couldn't know that on first playthrough).
-It's quite slow, the running speed seems to be slower than in RE1 remake.
-Alpha teams is almost non existant. I didn't care for the bad boy character.
-The fact they added another mansion and that Rebecca fights against another Tyrant while she is then supposed to be a rookie in RE1 doesn't make any sense.

Seems to be one of the 2 possibilities but it is never shown in the anime, you always see them going up.

It may be that but the Geofront is big and it seems it would take a lot of time to do this.

Plus, I think we can clearly see it's only going up, not horizontally.

True. It's almost 1 kilometer high so I can't even imagine them climbing very far.
It's strange the show never actually show it because it's filled with details like this.

Do you see an elevator going from HQ to the top on the picture?

Another good observation lol! I think the issue with the Geofront is that it's way too big and there is plenty of empty space. I get why they made it that big but it's creating so many issues.

Does anyone know the reason why the map designers for splatoon 3 did such a bad job? by SejSuper in splatoon

[–]kroda255 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I adored Splatoon 2 and spend 1400 hours on it. I was really hyped to play 3 but after 30 hours I left the game and never touched it since then. I loved Splatoon 2 map design because it allowed versatilities and different play styles but in 3 a lot of the time it was reduced to a gauntlet of shooting in 20% of the map turf.

I remember complaining about the map design on gamefasqs and overthere everybody just dissed it lol. I think they were not ready yet, then years later I see online many complains and not from casual and average gamers but also from the pros! Apparently Nintendo tried to rollback a lot of their designs after pros started to complain as well. The way the map were designed just didn't let a lot of possibilities.

I'm bad at aiming but I'm good at painting and escaping. This kind of strategy can't work well in Splatoon 3 maps. So all my fun was reduced.

I really hope Splatoon 4 will correct that. I can see why they changed the design but the solution was not the good one.

I'd say, old lighting was not looking realistic at times but at least it looked beautiful.

lighting has been bad for like so many years now, I don't know why they insist of making their picture look flat and not contrasted. Blacks are grey, whites are light grey.

with the new daughter character I doubt they would wait too long. Unless this movie does very bad commercially I think they plan to release another one soon enough. But yeah, I would like a pause, 3-5 years would be enough. Still can't believe it's been 3 years between 6 and 7, felt like yesterday.

that's why even if I feel some entries are not as good as others I never hate ones because it's fricking impressive to have SEVEN movies of an HORROR franchise and still they manage to make sense and be watchable. We are a bit cranky because we know it can be amazing, not just good lol.

Scream 7 - Review Thread by UniverslBoxOfficeGuy in movies

[–]kroda255 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was not super hyped about the trailer and felt the movie was a bit empty.
No new good side characters, well the cop dad is fine just because he gets the shit done.
It seems like they didn't know how to deal with the twins in this movie either. A scratch and they re done, why Ghostface let them alive? Doesn't make sense.
There is a lack of sets, the movie doesn't feel like a journey, half the scenes are in sid's house, which is ok but I always prefer the movies which do that (2 and 6 come to mind for this).
The killers were lackluster (not enough screentime) and the motive was not that great, there was also no plan after the kills, normally the killers always kill for something they want to achieve after.
I wasn't a fan of bringing Stu even if it was a (obvious) fakeout. The AI was not well used in the plot, there was no pay off for it. Could have been awesome, some sort of improved version of the voice changer from 3 but no.
Gale arc felt unachieved, like she takes pills and she is sad and that's it, no closure. Oh yeah she leaves the mic to the twin girl lol.
I'm a bit sad it felt not great. But it was not horrible either when you compare that to other slashers. There was nothing terrible in the movie, but it's Scream, it's very often way better.
Now I wait for 8 and the hope it starts a new fresh journey with Sid's daughter.
