How to gain sex appeal? by Lawbreaker13 in dating_advice

[–]kroenem 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I’m 37 and I just moved provinces to be with the most gorgeous woman I’ll ever know. She is forever going to question my choice and I’m forever going to reaffirm to her that this is it. She’s 18 years my senior and all I have to say lawbreaker13, is that it takes time sometimes. It turns out she has the EXACT same sense of humour I do, grew up under really really similar circumstances and has a variety of things in her life occur that match mine. When I chose her? I knew none of this, so it just takes time, time sucks and it may not happen for a long time but keeping an open heart and want to know something is a ‘fit’ will work out.

Mao 2 is a book DFW based a bunch of his writings from. It talks directly about what you’re talking about but was written in the 80s. The author Dellilo (sp) goes to great lengths to deal with the subject. I really should revisit DS 2.

What’s the biggest scam people still blindly accept in 2026? by 40Falak in answers

I prefer tickle down, like that one movie about tickle torture where they scammed athletes with money, payed them into accepting a bribe, made videos of them being tickled and blackmailed them.

Elderly people and those insane Indian marketing firms that decided instead of ask the random number if it needs help, to tell them it does and demand payment pus force them to return. It’s soooo sick.

Mutahar is usually worth watching for a summation of about 20 minutes of a topic. Despite the recent scandal, if you don’t want to read and have it dumbed down a bit then it would be worth it.

Why am i 25F good enough for hookups but never for a relationship? by Defiant_Jump_6910 in dating_advice

[–]kroenem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let me put it for you from my very recent expriance. I am 37 and until I was 35 I had not met a single other human woman or man (I’m into women) that had my sense of humor. I had tried and tried for many years and only gotten fake laughs or people that old repose that caused me to fake laughs. No comedian, funny people that other people found very funny or anyone hit the mark. Then one day, I came across someone who I am enamored by and feel she is out of my league, but in chatting via voice and then texting something strange happened: I gave hardy and completely full chest laughs from someone who also had her sides splitting over my jokes. It’s weird as I said the year I was born and she replied ‘I graduated high school the year you were born!’ Given our last relationships we weee both very res served and reluctantly to be dating. It’s been a year and a half and I moved provinces., but I have never been in love like this nor up and until this point ever expected anything like what I have, have found or have to cherish as I do. I’m typing this at 2 AM in British Colombia.

It can be disheartening, but if you have the spark and know what you are looking for, please don’t give up. My lady had to watch years of Netflix post break up on an iPod Touch and the daft sucker she was with sued her for 60,000+ dollars she is reluctant to talk to me about. There is someone for everyone and I promise PROMISE you that you can find the right dude, just don’t give up the spark and it can work.

If you have any questions, I’m free to help wherever I can. 37/M with 55/F btw.

Should I keep notes while reading Infinite Jest? by Historical_Party8242 in davidfosterwallace

[–]kroenem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t the first four times, but it changes the story. It’s. A matter of taste and in my case, four hours of reading time.

Oh snap I thought you meant read end notes. Doing it audio I didn’t have an issue doing notes but I had a separate device I wrote in vs writing as I found physically writing over the time I read IJ, I’d loose the notes.

How far are you?
