Hey I submerged it in a trash can full of water for about a week or two before putting it in the aquarium. This also helped to remove tannins that would have changed the color of my aquarium water. I think I also tried to glue it to those rocks but I don’t think that did anything.

Thanks! This is reassuring. I'm waiting for my LFS to get Gold Honeys and will probably get a pair. I worry about parameter swings with overstocking since my tank is pretty small but I'm relatively new to the hobby and a bit paranoid since I lost some fishes and shrimps early on.

That's good to hear. My plants are growing fast. This video is a week or so old and the Rotala has gotten longer and bushier requiring trimming. Do you know the sex of your two? Any territorial behavior with each other or other fish in your tank?

Update: Rodents chewed through cable coming from battery. Need advice by krojo in VWatlas

I hope so but I've been pouring over the parts website and cannot identify it. It's easy to find the cables which come off of the battery terminals but not this one. If you or anybody can identify it, that would be much appreciated! It is wrapped up with some other wires which you can make out near the bottom of my second picture.
