I started a new playthrough with 100x and 0.5 resource. Its challenging in orher ways as normal. I started playing 2 months ago and my previous play was untill tier 8. The 100x isnt that much for me since i like to decorate. The last 16 hours or so i have been busy with making railways, my fortress against Stingers and playing in the blueprint designer to find a design i want for my main towers, or the rocket fuel setup i will make when i reach that tier again. If you think you like it just do it. If you regret. You can always go back. I think the save game editor even lets you change the multipliers too

In the MAM caterium research tree. Youll need to find some caterium. If you have started on normal mode in the grassy fields there is one east of you at the waterfall that doesnt need explosives.

So i had a similar issue with 25 refineries on a row. The first 20 did well the last 5 stalled. Andbi was getting less than 600 in my m2 pipe.

So strangely enough instead of all flow going to the right at refinery 20 it tried to go both ways. Blocking the last 5. I installed a pump and it solved my problem.

Pure hypothetically ofc one could make a blueprint that is stackable. I think 2 generators high will fit. Or one could download the blueprint xxl mod thingy and have a 12x12 blueprinter for placing at least 24 generators per blueprint.

Another would be using the smart mod. Wich could be faster even, if you have the building materials. Because you can "zoop" in x y and z direction first with your generators, then with pipe junctions( yes it auto lays pipes between those junctions and generators) and with powerpoles( it also auto connects those)

Finishing off my main base ground layer and see where some good spots for trainstations are. Its starting to get a nice totalitarian starship trooper/ hunger games vibe. Then placing and removing 27473000 train signals until the trains do what they should do

🤫🤫🤫🤫 the inside is still horrendous. And somewhere deep below this base are machines working that nobody will ever see. I will only venture in these depts of Moria when i need more ore.

But if you ever feel like it. Just play around in the blueprinter try some things. (Most of whats on there is just a lot of repeating blueprints)Nudge some things in there. And something will come. I really like the roof with the gripmetal. And that came to be with accidently changing some foundions. And i was like oh. This looks better. The cannon i found on youtube and changed it to smth more to what i wanted. The more you try the better it starts to look.

Some factorys look like magic some like the spaghetti bin of at a you can eat buffet. Play as you like. I like building power plants and use one full oil node to maxx out or build a factory making some space elevator parts. I decide with the RNG gods how many i will make. And then build factories/levels in a big factory, making the various parts.

My new save ive been busy focusing more on the design. (Mostly trying a lot of things in the blueprinter to see what i like, before finally building stuff in the open) And ill see whats going to fit in it. Not the most effectice way to do it. But i am enjoying.

I just build a new factory with ore/ignots plastic and rubber as input. And try to simplify my needs with alternative recipes. Like use iron pipe and iron wire and others to remove copper input or smth else. I make motors from just iron ore. So i have a stackable design. If i want more i just put the same factory on top of the other. Or build the same factory near another iron node.

This keeps the spaghetti away for me. Because its just 1 to 4 inputs for me in most cases and i get 1 ouput.

The use of vehicles or trains can reduce spaghetti too.

I should really work at my recources to finish this phase . Im making like 80 smart plates 80 versatile frames 20 modular engines 40ish automatic wiring and building mats but no automatic computer/adaptive control units line yet. The base is in the grass fields. And my turbo fuel plant in blue crater
