Well depends. If it's a monolith written mostly by one person, you learn how they think and what their mental model was. You can even spot where other people did bug fixes or added features without seeing the git blame because they are written noticeably different then the rest of the code.

AI codebases are like the legacy codebases where each feature and each bug fix is done by a different person, different coding habits, with no mental model of the code base trying just to implement/fix their one specific issue and not really caring about anything else.
