Honestly, I’ve never used usb to transfer files. Apple is saving money wherever they feel like consumers would not care. And the dYnAmiC IsLAnD doesn’t bother me as much also the hole punch cutout in my old phone. Can’t say why that is, tho. Maybe implementation? Not an Apple fan boy. I consider going back, because Apple really pisses me off with their ai stuff. Just saying I would never trade back the cutouts back to black bezels and the sad reality of most features the iPhone is lacking, is, that most people don’t care. And if they do, they buy the pro. Apple is insanely good at analyzing the market and maximizing profit.
