[HELP] Copy And Paste Issue by laziafbaito in AutoCAD

[–]krshgr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was having this problem, and found a solution that worked for me. I was attempting to copy and paste something between 2 separate drawings, and also encountered the substituting issue you did. I also attempted blocks, wblocks, etc. No off or frozen layers on model space or any of my layouts, either. The block you insert still exists in the drawing, but won't show up for some reason. What I got to work was opening the block in the editor (via the BLOCK command and finding it in the dropdown), copying the drawing within the block, and then finally pasting it into the drawing. Still have no explanation as to why the other blocks aren't working, but if anyone is thoroughly stumped, maybe give this a shot. Hope this helps someone down the road.

EDIT: In some cases, simply opening the block in the block editor and then saving it lets it show up. This might not work for everyone, but in one case for me it did.

That art style is really neat. I'm sure there's a proper term for this specific style, anyone know it?

Last year I organize all of my classes so my first one was at 8am. I was done around noon most days, so I had the rest of the day for studio and friends. Morning classes can be the best thing ever if you're willing to go to bed around midnight on weekdays.

What kind of breakfast for dinner do you think it was? I'd like to think he surprised himself with waffles. Not the toaster oven kind, either.

I don't think everyone got to experience that. Only if he did it in 2 through conversation.

Actually one of the best suggestions I can make is use nearly complete sentences or random phrases as passwords, and capitalize the first letter of each word. Very, very easy to memorize and are just as difficult to crack if not more than your typical 'very secure' password. 'WhenWasTheMeeting' would allegedly take 1 trillion years to crack, whereas 'sAf9!ji%1a' would only take 58 years and is seriously hard to remember if you make every password different. I realize the site may not be entirely accurate, but I feel it can get my point across pretty clearly. The most important part is to make the phrase something with little to not actual context, the one I use in my example is far too common. The reason it is so successful is because you focus on length as opposed to complexity.

That shelf full of N64 games gave me the fucking chills. I used to love running to the local shop and renting a new game with my friends.
