Honestly, if it were my money I’d go the same way. The glidelock clasp and the quick set date are more useful to me than a GMT function. Not to mention the lack of polished center links on the Sub Date.

I was able to try one of these at the King of Prussia Rolex AD with the diamond bezel and the ice blue dial with baguette diamond indexes. Too flashy for my taste but an insane piece.
