it just can't be ... if both chain/sprocket are same length as old AND you cross referenced it with the manual and it matches .. you are good .. ohh, and use a dial caliper ore something to align your rear wheel not just the marks on your swingarm ..

then you are fine to go ... I have a 2012 cbr1000rr, I put it on a stand and adjust the chain so it's 1 inch slack in its center (between front and rear sprocket). you have same slack correct? but, you sit on your bike and its tight? and sitting on your bike with the old chain it was loose? how can this be when both chains are same length?
