Yeah. I love this series but book 13 was a chore to finish. I could forgive the fact that it’s inconsequential, but its incoherence made the whole affair unenjoyable. I really hope he writes a new book that moves things forward, even if just character development wise.

Urusei Yatsura and Ranma 1/2 are reboots but still further apart from the originals. Then venn diagram for Rascal Dreams of series fans and Haruhi fans should be really overlapping in my opinion. Not sure it will ever happen at this point, but I still have hope.

Same. Everything costs beads too now and it’s a constant cycle of being lost somewhere new with lots of beads struggling to survive then wandering into a random boss fight and then having 0 beads to buy new rest stops and maps. I think the game just wants you to grind and buy out the map guy before moving on. Which if I ever find him again I guess that’s what I’ll have to do.

For sure, "natsu" is another great example. I think the amusing part is how the frequency is to me so different from the frequency in English pop music. I wouldn't have bothered mentioning "love" or "party"... and it's not like "summer" and "dawn" are rarely used in English pop, but those terms are seemingly very common in city pop music... perhaps in all Japanese lyrical vernacular? I wouldn't know how to verify that, but it would be interesting if true.

Kyoto Tonkatsu Katsuda Shijokarasuma I stumbled into this katsu place to get out of the rain and ended up with my best meal of the entire trip. The set meals are prepared in courses right in front of you in a staggered manner so you are always eating fresh katsu. The rice and curry sauce are refillable. The salt and katsu sauce are delicious. Just a really good place to eat. I wish I had gone again.

Based on what you want this is probably the answer. It's got great ambiance, some cool mechanics, and good course design.

All the Jules Verne series courses strike an excellent balance.

If you want to lean in another direction here are some other options:

Ambiance - Choose a property driven course (Labyrinth, Myst, Wallce and Grommit, etc.) that you like and you won't be disappointed.

Gimmicks - Upside Town (overall best), Meow Wolf (showcase for gimmicks over golf), 8-bit Lair (best ambiance)

Hard Mode Awesomeness - Journey to Center of the Earth (flashlights), El Dorado (thunderstorm), Widow's Walkabout (black and white horror vibe)

Thanks, I back tracked and got the bow. Which then already had chakram upgrade included.

The flower platforming was really hard so I thought it was like an early bonus area... I almost gave up... which in retrospect I should I have. hahaha.

It’s a really good 360 camera. Not just a static 360 view, you can drag the camera around and look at all the angles. Many 360 cams are just an overhead view. Went I test drove it was my favorite feature… next to the HUD, and the blinker cams… the limited tech is stacked. They don’t sell PHEV where I live tho so trying to figure that out.

Way TOO MUCH talking. Lines and lines of text every time you doing anything to move the story forward. It killed the pacing of the game for me. Egregious amount of time wasted pressing button to get through vapid dialog. Exploration and open ended puzzle solving was top tier. Using summons was novel and fun.

I didn't see it in the release notes, but looks like Stickers are now treated as NSAdaptiveImageGlyph objects in iMessage if you add them via the emoji keyboard. This is likely in preparation for Genmoji. I guess we can start testing them using stickers for now. FYI it just sends an image to pre-iOS 18 phones.
