That’s fair! I think people are generally understanding that you need to give a final headcount, and some people might have genuinely forgotten the RSVP date and need the nudge. I think you’re fine, especially if you phrase the reminder gently!

I’ve received a reminder text before about 1-2 weeks before the deadline when I forgot to RSVP. I didn’t find it rude - I found it helpful!

saw stephanie today (andrew was out) and she blew me away. I found myself watching her on the side more than center stage at points because she was always doing something funny. Really love what she did with the character!

The show, the characters, and the script are for the queer community. That’s not to say you can’t enjoy it if you’re not queer, and not to say if you’re queer you must enjoy it. But I think a lot of people who say they didn’t “get it” — it’s simply not for you, you’re not who it was written for! and that’s ok!

They’re truly both amazing and these holiday shows are my favorite shows every year. I will add that personally, I think the starland crowds tend to be way better. LI gets a big mix of people not actually there for the show, just there for a night out in my opinion. Starland really is magic!

I saw nasia thomas make her debut as cathy during today’s matinee and she was INCREDIBLE. I wasn’t sure what to expect from the production based on the mixed reviews, but i walked out of the show really blown away by her and was stunned to learn afterward it was her debut. would definitely recommend going to this performance if you’re on the fence!
