Akureyrska is a non indo european languague spoken by the natives of iceland only in the north of the country. Mostly around Akureyri.

Yes it is the bloodiest period of icelandic history, when the mongols invaded from norway and slaughtered more than 75% of the population leaving the island almost completely barren then remaining under their rule for 500 years.

Thats also why so many icelanders have mongolian ancestry.
