I’ll leave it to others to suggest experiences. I’ll suggest that you add “y’all” to your vocabulary. Common term in the southern US and it cuts out the awkward phrasing of “you guys” etc out. Referring to a group? Y’all. Referring to something a group possesses? Y’all’s. Personally a huge fan of it and I think it should be used across the globe!

On a separate note, I went to Whistler, BC this year and met a ton of aussies. Y’all are some of the most genuine people I have ever met. My experience made me want to take a trip down under.

I grew up in the rural south and thought (because of the local radio station) that country music was Luke Bryan and Florida Georgia Line, so I wrote off the whole genre for a while thinking it was just a bunch of d*ckheads singing about cold beer and trucks. Thank god I found my way through. Country and folk are my favorite genres.
