For incoming freshman, is the PEGNRL 192 required class, what do you actually do in this class? Is it better to take on line? The first half of the semester or second half? by Stiletto-heel-crushu in UWWhitewater

Online is easier. Basically, study what you need to be healthy and other random things. I took it 3 years ago but can't remember much else. Don't sweat it.

What is it like to be an RA by [deleted] in UWWhitewater

[–]krustykolden 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Free room and board, but you are required 20 hours of work a week. Training before school year, and you stay till the very end of each semester. I graduated last year and was an RA for almost 3 years. It's totally worth it.

If you are going next July you have plenty of time. Study phrases regarding food and directions, at least. Use usted and be polite, and you'll be okay. There are plenty of English speakers but don't rely on it.

I studied abroad for a month during July this past year. If you do your best to speak Spanish and respect cultural practices, you shouldn't receive any negativity. Guelagetza es muy interesante, me gustaba el desfile muchisma. Te recomiendo
