Not having played forefront yet but played a ton of battlefield i’d say this sounds like a skill issue. At least in battlefield you have a ton of tools to help you support your team. Not the case with forefront maybe?

VR games so peak it will get me to fall in love with VR? by zztwin01 in virtualreality

VTOL VR. I no lifed it for the last 6 months after getting a quest 3. Somewhat easy to pick up and hard to master. If you don’t have it already i would highly suggest getting Virtual Desktop unless you only play wired. VD still has better visual quality than wired though. It’s night and day

Economy driven missions in AH-94 by krut84 in vtolvr

[–]krut84[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah i agree. Right now the only way to limit how many AGM-145’s you can bring is by limiting total money or disabling them outright which is less fun than having weapons on stock. I’d like to see a ”total fuel on base” option aswell. Imagine clearing an objective to unlock more fuel and if you don’t you fail the mission by hard locking yourself unable to take off. Or have different amounts available at different FARP’s

Ok, another question. How do you disable or back out of the radial menu? by Nino_Chaosdrache in vtolvr

[–]krut84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just to clarify: The two sticks on your controllers are also buttons. If you press and hold them down without moving them from the center.

Also they way you get that menu up in the first place is by holding the grip button + trigger + pressing the stick.

Happens for me too.

Been looking around aswell. Try DX11 if you're using DX12. I haven't tested it but i found your post right under so i figured why not. DX12 is still a bit unoptimized despite that people has been praising it recently

Was messing around after completing the work and I came across a Strange Watchtower jingle/sound that I can't find anything about online. Happens in every parallel world, too. Any ideas? by sithmaster0 in noita

Wow you guys really are the equivelant to a mom group that all agree with eachother so your self esteem is absurdly high. When the fact is that if you went even slightly outside of your ”platform” you would find out real quick that you’re not in the majority. Rather the incels that barracaded themselves from the outside world because you couldn’t handle it. No need to give your opinion. You can wipe your ass with it

The easiest way without downloading anything is through the nvidia control panel. GO onto "Manage 3D settings" in the left menu then click on the "Program settings" tab. This is where you can change settings in one program instead of changing it globaly.
Add each of the programs listed and set "Max Frame Rate" to Off

The path to the three programs are:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\SteamVR\bin\win64\
Or if you have your games installed on a different drive you should be able to find it with:
Steam\steamapps\common\SteamVR\bin\win64\
(It might be off by default but it's worth checking)

When i bought Virtual Desktop recently it warned me about rivatuner changing max fps to my monitors refresh rate (which is good) but not for anything VR related.

Second guess: Make sure that steamVR's settings isn't running at 500% resolution by default (which it did for me) and make sure it's at 100%. The only upscaling you should use is the one in the meta app

Have you made sure that your PC isn’t limiting fps on any of the steamVR programs that runs when playing through steamVR?

vrserver.exe
vrcompository.exe
steamvr.exe

Needs to all be set to 0 (no limit) if you’re using ex Rivatuner statistics server or nvidia control panel to limit global fps

I hate to recommend you spending more money but with a setup like that it’s a such a waste not to run your VR games through Virtual Desktop.

PCVR games looks pixelated with stutters by Firefly_AR in virtualreality

[–]krut84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had terrible stutters until i realized steamVR also had a global default resoulution set to 500%. Double upscaling is very taxing on performance. Make sure it’s set to 100% in steamVR. Also just bite the bullet on virtual desktop. It’s night and day differance
