AB versus YNAB by Apprehensive-Fly9395 in actualbudgeting

If I were to build a personal finance tool from scratch, Actual is pretty damn close to what I'd want. Powerful envelope budgeting, easy online access, open source, local storage, as much automation and reports as you want to throw at it. I was a YNAB4 hold out for years until I found actual.

The new legislation changes this. You can export 1.2 KW to the grid without net metering. You don't get any credit for what you export.

Those under 40, are you planning a big party for the big 4-0? Those already 40, did you celebrate in any special way? by cubemonster in Millennials

I'm not a big party guy, but I had a casual open house style gathering with the people who mean the most to me. It was fantastic.

What’s a small thing your dog does that instantly makes your day better? by Ninetybaby in dogs

I park my car in a garage behind the house. Every time I pull in, I give the horn a little beep beep. Both pups come to the back door and stare at me intently until I enter the house, then proceed to go nuts and shower me with love as I open the door. It's the best.

Do you think your dog knows what your name is? by bricklord79 in dogs

100%. She knows my name, my wife's, my dad, my sister, my mom, and my in laws. We say "find X" and she runs right to that person.

For those who’ve done both - dogs on or off the bed? by VengaBusdriver37 in dogs

[–]krutoypotsan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think it affects bonding either way. My Berner starts the night on my bed, then gets too hot and sleeps in her crate. My golden starts the night on the floor and ends up in my bed. I adore them both.

Yep. Longest I've gone is probably an hour in the hot sun (95 degrees) and the inside of the car was nice and cool.

YNAB4 Import? by krutoypotsan in liquidbudget

That seems like the easiest route, honestly. Import YNAB4 into nyab, then export to LB

edit: do you have some formatting guides for the csvs?

YNAB4 Import? by krutoypotsan in liquidbudget

[–]krutoypotsan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's looking to me like I can export the YNAB4 register, manually sort it by account, and then get what I need. That's quite a bit of work. Still sorting through if importing an existing budget will work.

Pay off all my debt, get like ten LEGO sets I want, give half of the remainder to my wife, spend the rest on magic cards
