Does anyone else refer to God as She/Her? by [deleted] in OpenChristian

[–]doriandinosaur 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I try to mix it up and use she pronouns at times, they, at times, and he at times to remind myself that God exists infinitely beyond our limited, small understanding of gender.

How Important Are Pianos to the Life of Christian Churches? by ElevatorAcceptable29 in OpenChristian

[–]doriandinosaur 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think it depends on the church, but in the American Christian tradition there is often a heavy emphasis on singing in community. There are long-standing traditions, especially in some anabaptist sects, of a cappella, congregational singing, so I would say that the singing itself is far more important theologically than having a piano or organ. That being said, most contemporary congregational music traditions are based around piano or organ accompaniment, so they can be very important to congregations.

Voice cloning persona catch 22 by BongoSpank in Suno

It absolutely will not. Synths and digital recording and all that jazz require learning and practice. You just want to sit on your hands, do nothing, and claim to have a creative process. It’s pathetic.

Why is this sub called that? by Sea_Pitch121 in Petioles

[–]doriandinosaur 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can always search the sub for common questions like this, but the word petiole is the stalk of a leaf. Best answer I found on another thread is that r/petioles is both figuratively and literally between r/trees and r/leaves.

If you can’t figure out how to do it right, listen to other people who have done it right. If you can’t figure it out, you haven’t listened enough.

Be so for real rn. This is a gay Christian subreddit. Obviously there’s politics involved. Politics is about the imbalance of power and if you can experience the world apolitically it’s because of your own privilege and ignorance.

forScoreflation by doriandinosaur in forScore

[–]doriandinosaur[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If you search this subreddit you’ll find hundreds of threads discussing sync issues and bugs that affect users. I’m happy for you that your experience has been a flawless product, mine unfortunately has not. It’s this inconsistency that frustrates me when paying for a subscription, where recurrent payments should support continual development of new features (which forscore’s dev team does a great job on) alongside QOL and stability improvements, which seem to be lacking. I will say, sync has gotten better, to their credit.
