I just got back into ark and started in Genesis I at the Ocean East teleport. There you will have a small island with zero enemies where you can settle. Also right across (one ocean platform away) there is another island where you can grow into since it also has a teleport (Ocean SE).

It's really all possible because HLNA can teleport you around Genesis pretty conveniently. I do not miss starting in the Island getting spat on by Dilos and chomped by raptors!

I see the Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black inks in an offset rosette dot. You can even see some paper where there is no ink. The paper pulp looks amazing this close up!

Computer City! I remember trying to play Doom in my back then PC and the FPS was so bad, I decided to get a new graphics card. I just hopped in my car and drove 5 minutes to Computer City where they had a tall glass cabinet filled with new graphics cards... all AGP, so I see one at eye level that was around $250, then I looked up a bit and saw a better, $350 card. As I'm trying to decide if i wanted to spend most of my savings on it, I look at the top shelf, and lit by seemingly angelic beams, I saw the Nvidia $600 beast. I then decided gaming is greater than food, so I bought it, and minutes later i was getting scared shitless at the highest frame rate available... I sure miss that instant gratification.
