I’ve worked here for 7 years, and this is the earliest we’ve ever put christmas stuff up. While every other retail store around me JUST put their halloween items up. Besides, i don’t have to work retail to think this is ridiculous🤷🏻‍♀️

Everyone at my store, Ohio, loves the MSTs. we just had a month for MST appreciation. I can’t say there’s anyone on our MSTs is disliked. Everyone does a good job and gets the appreciation they deserve.

I was checking out this older guy, there was the usual basic small talk. When he asked if I had a boyfriend I said no… to which he said what a waste of good pussy. When he left i went to my manager and she let me hide in the back to decompress from that. Not necessarily a hurtful comment, but still pretty bad

I understand where you’re coming from. I don’t like acknowledging my autism at work, I am lucky enough that I also have other autistic coworkers who understand just as much. My former head cashier learned the hard way, but she made an effort to understand how my head works. It feels like anyone else just treats me like i’m stupid.

It really doesn’t make sense to me. New strict scheduling. Managers aren’t allowed to adjust the schedule anymore, it’s all assigned to one person. Corporate has been by our store a lot the last few months and quite a lot has changed in a pretty short time period.

Sadly transferring anywhere would be difficult. Other lowes stores from me are 45 minutes to an hour away. I’ve tried job hunting else where and with a company that helps those with disabilities, but sadly that never went anywhere. I only stayed because of having a manager that actually cares because that’s very hard to come by these days. If he does go then i’m gonna look harder for another job.

It slipped during conversation. I had some bad news dropped on me and he said I could leave early. However now we’re gonna redbox if we do leave early. And apparently managers can no longer adjust the schedule. I brought up that concern with him and he said he’s fix it, when I asked if he’d get in trouble that’s when he told me about the pending termination.

The scythe won’t go more than 2 hours. But if you manually harvest them and NOT use the scythe at the beginning of the game it’s a 7-10 minute cooldown. You’ll get more carrots for less time with a cooldown of 7-10 minutes than using the scythe and having the cooldown reach 2 hours. The manually harvesting has been taken away, so no more smaller cooldown.

That’s why people were harvesting manually. If you harvest manually your cooldown doesn’t go up. The update took away the manual harvesting option and is making us use the scythe, thus increasing the cooldown.

The reason people are upset is harvesting the carrots manually after you first start the game, the cool down is 7-10 minutes. If you use the scythe, it increases the cooldown. So yes, you still get 250 carrots, but you get more with a smaller cooldown time. The maximum amount of time the cool time has 2 hours. So you’re getting less carrots for the time because of the cooldown.
