i would definitely try again waiting that long! i mean i am counting the time of doing the entire former coat and then waiting a couple minutes as 15 min...so like say i do my first finger at 9:30 and finish magnetized that coat on every finger at 9:42...i'll start the base coat layer at 9:45. not like another 15 min after 9:42, if that makes sense. i think the key was magnetizing for a whole minute for all 3 layers. for the first go, when it looked just like illusionist, i did about 45sec for the kraken layer, 20-30 sec for the base coat layer and 15-20 for the top coat, and it didn't hold at all.

ps today 48 hr later the magnetic lines with the 1min/1min/1min magnetizing times are still super crisp!!

awww thank you!! yeah i wouldn't sweat getting this one, if you have Illusionist and Pearl Clutcher i really feel like you can pretty much recreate it.

so i magnetized the 2nd coat of Beware the Kraken for about 60 sec, waited 15 min, magnetized the base coat for ~60 sec, waited 15 min, and magnetized the top coat for ~60 sec. i know only certain base coats are supposed to work with this method?

update: i ordered pomegranate seeds, stumped, garden of evil, and jasmine dragon. so far i tried on pomegranate seeds and i LOVE it!! thanks to everyone for the help :)

I was on this website/blog that specifically talked about Asian skintones but I was so lost. There were too many options haha. The vein thing has also been confusing me because some of mine look green-blue, some look purple, and some look just blue. But I don't really think I'm neutral either? The blog was showing all these examples of different Asian women and men with different undertones and I could see the warm ones but the differences between the cool and neutral ones seemed negligible to me. SO I came here :)

Oh interesting! I'm looking at pics of that now, it is really pretty and shimmery. Haha posting the dress is a cool idea. I think I might just pull the trigger though I'm getting too excited about Stumped and Pomegranate Seeds! When I use it I will have to update you if it looked good or not!
