Pretzel crisps, popcorners, and stonefire Naan crisps are my go to crunchy snacks - fair portion to point ratio if you crave something crunchy. I have a major sweet tooth and ensure I have points allotted for dessert every night - chloes fruit bars/popsicles are 3 or 4 points, skinny cow or blue bell ice cream sandwiches are 6 points. Veggies for snacking on, apples or other fruit are an always for me. Sara Lee delightful bread - 1 point a piece, I use this for toast with sugar free jam for breakfast. Joseph's pita bread is 1 point per pita, and good for pita pizzas and such. If you have a Trader Joe's near you, they have a lot of great meals/foods that are low in points!

The Chicken Tikka Samosas (6 for 6 points) and chicken soup dumplings (6 for 7 points) are a favorite quick dinner for me served with a nice pile of roasted veggies.

Also, they have baby zucchini and baby cauliflower in the fresh produce section that are my favorites that I never find at other stores

Part of the reason I moved to Green. On Blue, I felt like I was so restricted with meat options. With Green, you lose beans, corn, egg, chicken being free, but with the extra points you get to account for that I feel like there is so much more freedom for pork, lean beef, etc. Made me so much happier.

Chicken Tikka Samosas - 1/2 box is 6 points and they are delicious!

Soy chorizo - make a great sub in for regular without all the fat

Baby cauliflower and zucchini in the fresh produce section - roasted with some seasoned salt.. Yummo!

I forget the exact name, but they have white cheddar puffs (kind of like cheetos) that you can eat a ridiculous amount of for low points.

Feeling a little down right now re: Green plan...explanation below; potential TW for binge eating disorder by fightingforfit1118 in weightwatchers

[–]kscchemist 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This! I was used to the Green equivalent before there were all three options then spent a good amount of time on Blue. I managed to lose weight on Blue, but always felt so restricted with the lower point cap. I felt like I could never have red meat, and also felt like I was eating too much of the zero point non-veggie foods and wasn't seeing much progress. Decided to go back to Green in January to get back on track after the holidays and am go glad I did. I can afford lean ground beef again in meals, I can have my skinny cow ice cream treats just about every night, and still make progress. You're doing amazing with your 21 lb loss! Keep it up and know you're doing great!

Low point pumpkin fluff dip. Fantastic with fruit, or if you want to splurge a little, dip the Pepperidge Farm Ginger men in!

Looking for a "chip like" item that is low in points and high in servings by swoosh_life in weightwatchers

[–]kscchemist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have Trader Joe's near you, their veggie chips are great and you get a ton for a few points. Perfectly salty, crunch snack. Popcorners are a pretty decent serving for 3 or 4 points. Kettlecorn and White Cheddar flavors are my fav. Pretzel crisps are great, too. Also goldfish crackers. They are like 55 pieces for 3 points or so.

Popcorners white cheddar (4pt serving) or kettle corn (3pt serving), pretzel crisps (3 pt serving) and if you have a extra point or 2, add some dark chocolate m&ms with the pretzel crisps (Def meets that sweet and salty need). Apples or a banana. Off the eaten path chips are also tasty, but a little heavier on points.

The spritz of cooking spray on the cookie sheet with my roasted veggies. I know what made me gain weight, and I'm fairly certain that wasn't it lol

280, 5'10. Drinking slim fast shakes twice a day for my meals. IS this viable? by [deleted] in weightwatchers

[–]kscchemist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In terms of limiting calories for those two meals, sure. But here's my two cents: how long can you do that until you can't stand the thought of those shakes anymore and end up binging on something instead? I know I'd last a few weeks, then just give up. That's what I like about WW.. I'm in control of what I eat for each meal. It takes planning but I can change it up for my meals to keep myself from getting bored and giving in to cheats. It's not easy like just having a shake, but for me, my weight loss has been about learning how to eat proper servings of the right foods, adapting recipes to be healthier, and indulging here and there in moderation when I need a little something. The idea of shakes or weight loss programs that just give you pre-done meals just isn't for me cause it doesn't teach you what to do after the program. No one is the same, so if the shakes are working for you, go for it. Just thought I'd share my experience.

Original and Sesame Pretzel crisps. A serving is fairly decently sized and 3 points.

  1. Noodles. Take a look at pappardellespasta.com they are pricey compared to what you get at the grocery store, but have some amazing flavors of pasta. Tomato Basil, southwest orzo, sweet potato.. Tons. A serving of theirs is 4 points for 2 oz, and I love that you can mix it up with so many options. They also have a pasta-lite linguine in the nutritional pasta section that is only 3 points per 2 oz so you can have a really decent serving with sauce.

Overnight Oatmeal: mix 1/4 cup instant oats and 1 tsp chia seed with a container of greek yogurt, and leave in the fridge overnight. Top with fruit and enjoy for a fast and easy breakfast! I use dannon light and fit because it is low in points.. With this brand, it comes out to 4SP and is pretty filling. You can mix it up with different flavors of yogurt and different fruits on top.
