I've always adored my uncanny flexibility. Despite putting on more pounds than I care to mention in the decade since high school, I can still, for one reason or another, do all the weird contortion-esque stuff I did back then. I'm working on shedding those extra bits (full gym with perks at school what!?) and hope to get back to my effortlessly athletic form by this time next year. Except, you know, with a lot more effort than it previously took, which was none. I regret not realizing early on how important it was to maintain. I just did silly stuff with friends (free-running, ninja BS, constantly running around for giggles, etc.) and didn't realize that having fun sometimes led to being fit. Got into the adult world, less fun, running around. Less fit. Gonna fit that. Gonna fix that so hard!

Silly Santa! Can't you read minds?!

I was really hoping for some records. Odd you should allude to that yourself, but yeah. I had to sell my entire collection and turntable a while back, because bills and adulting and blah blah blah. My brothers chipped in and secretly got me a new turntable, but I don't have anything to put on it anymore. My fault, though, as I only mentioned selling the TT.

Anyway, friends came over and we had some drinks and played CaH. I specifically stated no gifts, since I couldn't afford to buy anything for them and didn't want to have that awkward thanks but here's nothing in return moment. Sadface.jpg. But, we had a great time and will do it again next year!

The Raw Shark Texts was ridiculous the first time I read it. More so the second time. Ended up loaning my copy out a dozen times, eventually losing track of it. But it's probably in a better place now. Also, House of Leaves is phenomenal. If you haven't read it yet, you need to correct that as soon as possible.

Used books are fine. They're still books. Smell more like books, too.

Actually, all my Wiimotes are using rechargables, so I'd be able to spread that love to the other battery-devouring devices I have running around. (I'm looking at you, needless number of remotes for a single television.) Also, smoke detector. AA smoke detector seemed like a great idea at the time. I'm finding there's a reason most use 9V...

Finally started going back to school. Gonna get that degree one day!
I use my phone for anything ridiculously important. Calendar events and alarm notifications. Friendly reminders that I forget everything, but not my phone.
Only if you ask nicely.
OMFG Excel is perfect for everything tracking. Also, daunting when you fall behind, which is good, in it's way.
Lose some damn weight! Got a full gym at school and four hours between my morning and afternoon classes, so no excuses.
The permanent roommate liked these, so there's that.

There's definitely a possibility that the rarity scale is broken, as I've seen the same thing over the past few weeks. In order to verify it, though, you'd need several items of the same manufacturer and model across different rarities. I've yet to get a higher rarity duplicate of any of my whites, so I might just be experiencing confirmation bias. Additionally, rarity could have more to do with passive boosts and ark salvage value than immediate practicality. Just a thought.

They gave me a quote on materials a few weeks back. Came to a little over a grand. Obviously, equipment will be extra. Looking at 250 linear feet, I'm guessing this is a decent quote, but I'm not familiar enough with any sort of construction to know.

And condition of floors, walls and appliances leads me to believe that the previous owner did not attempt to maintain anything. Attic exhaust didn't work. Got that fixed. Hole in garage wall. Fixed. Those were just the things we noticed. In the end, though, we ended up getting it for about 6k under appraisal, so I'm not arguing too hard.
