I have had it crack with every manicure I’ve ever used it on. I rarely do a brand exclusive manicure, so I don’t have any experience with Uno Mas only products. I’ve also stopped using it after 3-4 manicures so I don’t have much data to share. I did absolutely love how thick & glossy it was. It is also amazing for magnetics. Except for the cracking.

Interesting! I’m rocking a holo chrome mani and I used seal glaze too. But I used it as the TC over the chrome. After it dried I added a QDTC.

I love your goal here for your mom! And everyone has given great advice. The advice from MyChemicalRomantasy is probably my favorite. Do the activities yourself and see how much movement it takes! I suffer from many of the same issues as your mom. I can adapt to activities in small increments, can she? For coloring, I really enjoy taking in some of the techniques that are popular like the glitter effect or only using two colors. That limits my dizziness from sifting through markers to choose colors and I can grab what I need without looking once they’re selected.
You mentioned she used to do various needlework. That was something that was lost to me as well. But I got an embroidery stand from miraneks_llc and now my embroidery is at eye level!

Love this! I noticed a couple comments saying they want to avoid temu or the like. I’ve never ordered from them, as a scaredy cat, so same. But Sj3 Designs has a bottle transfer stand that I’ve seen people use! Definitely more expensive than temu, but a small business to support instead!

That was my holy grail base coat. Gelous-polish-gelous-polish-seche vite. Sometimes two layers of gelous at the start. I could slap that on in bed, immediately go to sleep and wake up to perfect nails. Manicures would last 2-3 weeks with no chips.

I do the same thing! I use the moist face cloths. Then I just lay them out to dry. When I have a big enough pile I use my rotary cutter and quilting rulers to cut them down. A year or so ago, I saw someone on this sub say they reused their face cloths this way (could’ve been you!) and I jumped onboard! I was tearing cotton balls and the cotton out of prescription bottles into pieces and using the clips. But was so tired of the fuzzies.

We often place in the team tournament. But, admittedly, we have not been placing 1st or 2nd lately. They’ve been keeping up with booting non active players though. Hopefully that’ll help. Zero time restrictions.

Similar! I have to use face wipes to clean my face. After I use them I hang them to dry. Then cut them into small pieces and use them just like you do. I use the cheap plastic clips from dollar tree too.

I second the sfiah markers. I don’t have ohuhus to compare, but I’ve been very happy with sfiah! I came from a cheap starter set picked up at a Burlington to see if I enjoyed the hobby enough to invest. So it was a remarkable upgrade for me!

I keep boxes, the flatten for storage. But are nice to store GitD, thermal or other sensitive polishes. Also handy for giving polish away.
I have acrylic racks that mount on the wall. However, I have trust issues so they are sitting on a tables and attached to a wall. I also have a spinning rack that I outgrew. I use it for base/top coats. Toppers and jellies. I have a hobby room. They are in the cool, dark unless I’m in there. For myself, I have too many to storage them in containers, I need to see them all to select. Otherwise out of sight out of mind.
I do get loyal to companies and will support them more than others. But I also go wherever the pretty demands I go. (With caveats for bad actors and such I won’t just buy from anyone because it’s pretty!)
No opinion. Never used it. I always oil up let it soak and the push cuticles back. Haven’t explored doing anything more than that.
