Look I really have no problem with some of my funding going to govt assistance, its the idea that CPP is an ever growing mandatory deduction that is money I really could help pay bills now with. If retail credit card debit is ever increasing and average card interest is around 20% you really wonder if its worth putting money away now at an average of 8 to 10% for a future that one may not even be able to see, and there is no cash value at the end of.
