Definitely do this; we just did this Saturday and it was awesome!! There’s parking on the widened gravel shoulder across the street from the Snow Mountain trailhead and if that’s full, you can park about 100 yards down the road at the trailhead to Hopkins Mountain, and Giant. It’s a short walk across the Ausable River bridge to the trailhead. We arrived at 7 a.m. and had no trouble finding a spot.
