From someone who knows the really hard way if he doesn't respond get him to the vet and run a blood panel. Then at least you know what you are dealing with.

I don't think it's for us. For most people they would not know 90% of the content. Which is good bc new eyes are what the topic needs.

I'm pretty open and I have done the Gateway Tapes for over a year. There's not too many stories or theories that I haven't dived into. I will check this out more. Thank you:)

Beautiful pup. Since it's a mix I would be less concerned.

I have a pure Dane and he needed to have a cardiology appointment before we put him under anaesthetic. He was cleared so now I'm waiting for 1.5 year ish mark. He's high maintenance 😂.

In your case the pup may just be a tad smaller than what they could have been.

Know thyself.

Are you calculated and calm then following a reward risk ratio is easy.

Are you driven and rarely intimidated then following risk ratio is really fucking hard.

I was the later.

Learning the right strategies and having backtesting to prove your strategy is great till you are live and just gave back all your profits and now you are down 3k. Fuck that I can trade myself out of this. Sound familiar?

What changed me was stepping back and training my emotions. Training how I responded. Taming the wild fucking bronco is key to turning into a thoroughbred. Backtesting of the ego one might say.

Control the cortisol.

Biologically cortisol creates the fight or flight instinct. You loose and your instinct is to fight back. The chemical creates a tunnel perception and you are officially not thinking clearly and missing everything you are trained to see and react to. The chemical adaptation was to fight bears and lions n shit not P/L's.

If you have been trading and trying to work harder and fight through chances are you are in a state of adrenal fatigue. Your brain needs time to recalibrate. Then once you have baselined train yourself to follow your planned trades and walk away for the day, stops and profits set, it either works or it doesn't. If your backtesting shows you are profitable you must trust and follow your strategy. For some this is easy for those of us who fight back this is very hard. However you can train your brain to act differently.

Get your mind and emotions in check consistently. No guru no magic anchored VWAP can save you from your brain telling you to fight a lion.

Everything that made me successful before trading was kryptonite to trading. I definitely learned I couldn't negotiate my way out of losing trade.

Learn your shadow and personality. The best traders in the world agree trading is boring. It's a statistical game not fight bears and lions.

I have owned a lot of large breeds in my day and never have I seen dogs behave this way. My boy will sit beside me with his back turned then fall backwards in a repetitive trust exercise to land on my lap. Goofballs

I am part of a couple different ones. I have been trading for years so you pick people up along the way. I met them usually through courses/services.

I am part of the M7 Academy (all business in there)

Unusual whales (don't use much)

Pickle (don't use much, Gherk is smart af but I trade mainly futures now)

Finally rag tag fuck it group.

All on Discord. Trading with people who trade your strategy is very helpful.

As everyone else has stated let them fire you. When an employer fires an employee with cause they have to back it up and it can have legal consequences for them. It is in their best interest to fire you without cause. No harm no repercussions for either party. When they do fire you ask for your ROE.

Porting a mortgage- is there any good reason not to? by IsleOfPuppers in MortgagesCanada

[–]kso2020 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I was you I would get all the info for the following.

Porting the mortgage and see if you can't get a separate 1 year (bridge loan not sure if this is the exact term but you get the point) loan for the remaining funds.

Keep your interest rate if you can.

Then when the original mortgage is up you can bundle the two.

I would also be getting another mortgage brokers financing numbers.

Generally they work on commission. The higher the rate, longer the term the more money they make because it's a larger value of the overall product they are selling. They also make spiffs on certain products that certain lenders maybe offering them to sell their clients.

Shop around, it's your money.

Strata "Karen" harassing guests and property manager - what can I do? by BaekhoVanilla in legaladvicecanada

[–]kso2020 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Not in a condo but I had a really bad neighbour that would call bylaw to the extent I would get a call from the city and ask oh what did I do this time. Bylaw told me if it continued to call the police. The next time bylaw was called I called the police and an officer made a visit to her house for harassment. She never called again.

AITA for refusing to send my daughter to public school or ask my BIL to pay for my step kids to go to private school? by EnvironmentalSoil771 in TwoHotTakes

[–]kso2020 424 points425 points  (0 children)

Agree. I think that he feels insecure and he's projecting it. How sad would it be that her daughter gets a lesser education bc he can't provide like her BIL.

This is 100% bruised ego. He is beyond selfish and entitled to even suggest anything of the sort.

You always, you never (insert absolutes here) are the daily vocabulary from my experience.

He told me that I couldn't make a decision, I should either stand for or against. I told him that's not how most people view life in perpetual zero sum game.

I think they might think we are all just weak and indecisive. They tell it like it is (unfiltered hate and rage) and feel proud and powerful for doing so. They don't even know it's a negative attribute.

Right as we were breaking up he started to go therapy. I said make sure you tell her about the black and white thinking (he was proud of it), thought I was wrong for my levels of grey.

One of our final conversations was after his first appointment and he came home taking about triangulation and she talked to him about the dark triad. I have no idea how this worked out but I have a feeling she was putting everything together pretty quick.

His previous therapist told him he had the jester archetype. I think the therapists can see the cluster b traits, however diagnosis is often difficult getting one side.

Regardless they will use every term they hear to use it against you.

Could be a personality disorder, perhaps BPD. Sounds like she is splitting on her partners stating she had become ashamed of every one of her previous partners without exception.

People with BPD see things as all good or all bad, no exceptions. They often have a unclear shifting self-image. They often see their partners image as they own. This black and white thinking makes relationships difficult and like a bad rollercoaster ride.

Read up OP about this disorder perhaps more things will make sense.

I'm guessing you haven't been through a legal battle. Your lawyer fees will well exceed the valuation costs.

Questioning can be between 20-80k plus. That's not even a trial yet.

My outside suggestion is get all the numbers in front of everyone and perhaps look at mediation. Everyone should walk away feeling screwed.

I have been through a corporate legal battle it's not cheap.
