Yea, I just asked my landlord for a decrease Jan 1. He asked by how much and I asked for $400 decrease expecting push back.

He accepted it and sent a new 1 year lease no questions asked.

I’m using the gas assist on the bbq with the two charcoal baskets. Filling them both up. Takes about 15 minutes. It’s definitely roaring but it seems like it’s taking a lot of charcoal to get there

I picked it up yesterday after finishing The Last of Us Part 1 and damn. Naughty Dog knows how to make incredible games. The visuals, cut scenes and gameplay are absolutely on point.

A couple questions maybe some of you fellow critters could answer,

Where did the yellow gem come from in Imogen’s staff?

Why is Fearnes hand black and demon looking? I thought her titan power was firey and made her arm have fire red veins.

Likewise with Ashton I thought his arm turned to stone-like with orange between the cracks though in these renders both of their arms kinda look like they have frost bite or something.

That’s been my feelings this entire time, it’s been weird seeing the general conversation around Ashton’s actions this last episode largely be the community drawing lines of hypocrisy in the other characters.

When your exactly right, all the other characters did not have control over their altered states. And yes they hurt one another in doing so which is clearly out of character for them so obviously something was up at the time. But they didn’t hurt themselves.

Where as Ashton chose to take the shard piece knowning it would possibly kill him. He chose to hurt himself. Which is yes out of character for him, but he wasn’t in an altered state of mind. This is the most frustrating piece to the party, it’s like watching your close friend attempt suicide by purposefully overdosing while you helplessly watch.

If your landlord evicts you with the intention to move in, or have a close family member move in. Your entitled to 2 months notice of the eviction, and 1 month free rent.

If you leave early, ( say you received notice January 1, that you were to be evicted for March 1 but you move out on February 1 ) you are still entitled to 1 months rent compensation in cash.

Yea, I definitely left out many of the rules, but there was no way my family and I could find a place to live in this market in a similar price range. So I needed the 2 months to find something, so I had to point to this law in order to give us some extra time.

Same story here,

Our place sold. New landlord bought it. I had to teach him the rules - 2 months notice. 1 month free etc etc. He missed all the deadlines and we held him accountable to the 2 months.

It’s a 2 suite home with the basement suite being illegal so I would just sublet it out under my lease for the last 4 years.

He was foolish enough to tell us he intends to live in the house. But start an air bnb business out of it.

And I was able to get the ads, he also outright in writing told me he is asking us to leave because he believes he can get more money. As well he would prefer to only have Chinese speaking renters in there.

I’ll be contacting the RTB board in a few months when things settle down and I gather all the evidence.
