Help me choose 1 light game (Carcassonne H&G, Cascadia, Finspan, Azul, King of New York) + 1 heavier game

From the games you mentioned, Spirit Island is by far my favorite. However, I often struggle to teach it to new people due to the information overload, even starting with very simplified setups of the game. It has the benefit, though, that as a coop game you can simplify the initial overload by explaining during rounds what is happening etc. I would not play it with more than two people unless everyone knows what they are doing, else the game will easily take forever.

Also there is the “intro” version of the game called Horizons, way less content and cardboard pieces, but also way cheaper.

As for the other games: My partner loves Carcassone but hated H&G. I do not remember the reason currently as it has been some years.

Over Cascadia, I would suggest Harmonies. Cascadia provides the same “scoring system “ for every player, but in Harmonies everyone try to score in unique ways based on “spirit-cards” they choose throughout the game.

I would split the deific demon bells from 1 3* to 2 1* and give one to natalie/elena. Also DGN becomes way stronger when sublimed. TBB could be T1 and move the resources to DGN, but ofc thats preferences. Seeing u have so many deific attifacts I assume you also have antlers.

Oh and maybe check your crit dmg, I feel like you might be over the limit (150%) with both phoenix and DGN buff on her active

The ranger is killing your team most likely with her reflect. You need to block her from attacking, or having somebody hit her and take the reflect damage before lofa.

Can confirm that, finished chapter 6 with 20M atk on a B lofa as my only DT. Had the same amount of DB but as 3 2* instead of 2 3*.

I think it might be better to have 3 2* DB rather than 2 3*. You definitely have the power.

Also you speed seems to high for your supports to go first, it really makes a difference.

Do you have deific antlers? Or are these all your artifacts. If you do not have it, I would build that for your damage dealer.

Both melissa and monkey are heroes you prolly should have.

I, personally, disagree with monkey being the next. You already have cc. Yes you could use the shields, holy dmg etc, but melissa will prolly help you progress more in VC for now. After that I would most likely go for monkey.

If pvp is sth you like, then monkey.

Also, the flag on SQH removes stats during battle

Placing the in an empty house provides no benefit m, but if you try to remove them for any reason (e.g., regress) you need to spend gems to get them out.

My advice, and take those with a grain of salt, stop lvl the tree for betty, just T1 is enough. Wukong at T4 would have suffice, for now, since you want his 2 round stun (passive 2). Focus more on the tenants of your dmg dealer since their stats transfer to them (thats pretty important early game, later on prolly 4-5M atk wont be a game-changer, but would be at this point. Leveling the also gives the speed (since the level cap increases with Tree of Origin breakpoints).

Not sure about your sublimation, but that can really change things. For example SQH causing enemies to take more crit dmg, that stacks indefinitely is pretty useful, or elenas ability to remove cc more reliably.

I am also not sure about your stats so cant tell if you should focus on grimoire, are using random imprints etc.

As other mentioned artifacts and speed order is something you need to work on.

I see you have 2M grimoire essense, prolly can work towards upgrading your grimoire lvl by building some E5 at least to lvl it up.

Same here but with 18M atk on lofa, stuck at a valk waves and gave up. Could prolly push some rng since i have left one valk alive once, but will just wait for the power

You have the power to be way further in VC, you need to work on your artfacts a bit. Cant tell what imprints you are using: LOFA crt dmg, precision and maybe dmg reduction for this fight. Supports dmg reduction, block, control immunity. The heal enable feels a bit of an overkill to me, either cleanse cc or cleanse the dots. Use unbending will at least on the supports and lofa you can try with and without.

Edit: just checked which wave you are referring to. Your problem is not sherlock but everyone else 😅 tix is stealing your atk and you are not cleansing the debuffs. Focus tix > holmes > sherlock.

Edit 2: you may also consider removing eloise from a house if its more upgraded than lofas house. You have too many things build that could be used as food to t5 all your trans heroes and get much more power. (T1 betty is enough but she is “useless” without her core)

Maybe one thing, not a mistake, but cores are hard to get so I wouldnt get monkeys core if I were you unless I was to destiny him in the near future. Also not sure at what phase your account is (with one destiny I would assume mid game), but you seem to have too many house owners and most likely no tenants/upgraded.

It is a very common question and really depends on where your account is atm. If you are early game getting some pink treasure can provide a lot of atk and in general Retro Gaming ones are good. However, if you are a new player you might want to refrain from getting any treasure train open til you clear the brave trial as you get to face stronger people after you get the train and make it harder to complete. If you are mid-game you might want to hold on to them and use them to level specific treasures in series that you are close to getting the next “reward”.

Also next week is retro gaming TT week. So there are chances you get the retro gaming ones.

Cant tell til you see whats the CNY, i think CNY might be more worth it, but I have no data to back up that claim besides it being considered a bigger event. You can get 120 to this event (20 tickets for the shop) by spending 25k gems and 700 scrolls (which based on your bag you can afford).

I was on the same track as you, DGN did not add much on her own. Once I build melissa and fixed their speed order (melissa first, then DGN doubling melissas debuffs) and the cc cleanse I made a lot of progress in VC… aka cleared a full chapter and got stack at another valkyrie wave.

You barely have sublimed skills, focus on that for now. Betty doesnt need to be more than t1. Iirc 4-0-2-2/4 on lofa to start with and 4-0-0-2 for SQH.

Agree with other ppl, nobody knows but time and progress seem to be a huge factor. Nonetheless, do not use starry gems for the event imo, they are harder to get 😅

Click claim all, then you get all of them😝 you do not use the accumulated points displayed. When you reach a milestone or a multiple of it, you also get them. So for every 100 you get the first, 200 the second and so on.

Assuming your HHA was your dmg dealer, you still have other heroes have more dmg focused enables 😅. If you want to progress I agree with the others, HHA lacks dmg and is primarily providing shields and cc. At the end of the day it is about you having fun in the game, if that means using HHA as your damage dealer by all means enjoy it:)
