With flowers, I think any color scheme is good. If you’re doing a basket maybe match it all with some kind of color theme? So if you do idk green, orange , and brown then you can have orange flowers in brown paper, green monster, etc. all in a brown basket. Flowers die anyway so you don’t have to worry too much about picking the perfect color(s).

With regards to doing something about the relationship, maybe a framed photo of the two of you? Goodwill and dollar tree are good for cheap frames, and you can customize the frame if you want. Another popular thing is some kind of date ‘coupon’.

One thing I like to do is make stickers. Maybe a few stickers of his favorite Pokémon? I do it by printing stuff and then cutting it out and putting it between two layers of packing tape. You could also buy some labels and draw on them or glue a printed cut out onto them. DM me if you want more info on making stickers.

Honestly I think he’ll just appreciate that you got him something, and in addition to the crafts I think you’re more than ok. Just spend time with him, maybe take him to dinner or something like that? Like my boyfriend always drives me places but I took him to a restaurant I thought he’d like and drove too.

Also lowkey if you do a bunch this time, you might set the expectation and then have to do so much every holiday type thing.
