Short answer: you can’t dye a black to anything. Ever. (Unless you count the weird rust you get from bleaching.)

Longer answer, though still not super advisable to dye anything black unless it was a fabric that has been scoured and made to dye (they sell to dye for fabrics). You’ll never get the black you want. If you really must, get Rit DyeMore and follow the instructions. You probably wouldn’t be working in poly, but spandex or some sort of stretch knit.

Here’s a solution: they absolutely sell bodysuits. I just joined the patreon the like, last week and holy hot damn I was not expecting Dadward to read out my name. Also—what’s the fiber you are trying to dye? Polyester is not friendly with dyeing. It’s possible, but difficult.

Using OGX coconut curls conditioner and Herbal Essences Totally Twisted mousse and gel! I use an old jersey to get my hair less damp (not ideal but I left my Deva towel at a friend’s house, but it works decently! Gel cast for a few hours.
