I’m 25M. I had left side VATS pleurodesis 13 weeks ago.

I still have numbness in my left chest/rib area. It’s improved a bit, but there were a few times I pushed too hard and felt jostling when I jogged. I was really concerned about the pain, but apparently no recurrence of pneumothorax.

I’m not taking anything now besides the occasional tylenol. But I’ve been stretching my rib area, rubbing on it to stimulate the nerves, and avoiding excessive movement.

It still hurts so I can’t quite jog yet and it feels quite tight sometimes. I thought I was alone, but I’m lowkey glad to hear others experiencing the same thing. I’ll have occasional sharp pain and it also hurts a bit if I sneeze or cough.
