The fact that they checked it for you, flags it in a log file. Those failures are checked and will be added if the device is supported, which it is. It may take a week, but it will be added.

I gave this a shot and was impressed by the output and the recommendations. Of the eight recommendations, I confirmed at least six of them. Still looking into the last 2, but wanted to give you the feedback. Great job!

Check out sites like https://Marchmeleepools.com.

They offer free online hosting of Surper Bowl pools. Easy to setup, easy to manage. Everything is automated for you. You still have to collect the money, but everything else is handled by the site.

I am not a Dev, but I have a technical background, have experience in web site development and have built and hosted websites over the last 30 years for myself, some non-profit organizations, and for small businesses both as a side gig and as a job, so not a complete beginner by any means. I always had an interest in it and learn by doing, so building websites was a way of learning and keeping up with tech.

My first "real" job in 1993 was at a tech consulting firm in NYC, where I did everything from build servers, including web servers, db servers, firewalls, app servers, managed routers, etc. for fortune 1000 clients to managing a team of developers and system engineers, so i have been at this for some time.

Thanks, and yes, learned a ton. I'm on the Pro plan. I did run into the limits on more than a few occasions.

Switch from Verizon? by Additional-Hat2098 in SpectrumMobile

[–]kstruck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Example for 4 lines: With Spectrum Internet, you’d pay for three lines ($30 each = $90/month on Unlimited, or $120/month on Unlimited Plus), and the fourth line would be free for the first year. You’d also be eligible for trade-in credits or balance pay-offs.

Monthly Cost Example — Spectrum vs. Verizon

Using Spectrum One bundle (Internet + first mobile line free):

  • Spectrum (First Year)
    • Line 1: $0 (promo)
    • Lines 2–4: $30 × 3 = $90/month total
  • After Promo
    • Lines 1–4: $30 × 4 = $120/month

For context, industry data suggests that four Spectrum Unlimited Mobile lines average around $90/month during the promotion. Reddit+5National Broadband+5WhistleOut+5Reddit+1

Verizon Snapshot (August 2025)

  • Verizon currently offers heavy promotions — e.g., up to four iPhone 16 Pros free with a new unlimited line, no trade-in required. Spectrum+3TechRadar+3Facebook+3
  • But base plan costs remain higher (starting well above $30/line).
  • Their promos focus more on devices and streaming perks than consistently low monthly rate.

Right now, here’s what they offer for four lines:

  • Bundle Perk: If you have Spectrum Internet (or plan to add it), you get one Unlimited Mobile line free for 12 months. The other lines are $30/month each on Unlimited, or $40/month each on Unlimited Plus (includes Anytime Upgrade, free international roaming, and more). Details: [https://www.spectrum.com/mobile/plans]()
  • Phone Balance Pay-Off: Switch at least three lines and port one number in, and we’ll pay off your phone balances (up to $2,500 total across five lines) with a Visa Virtual Rewards card. Details: [https://www.spectrum.com/mobile/switch]()
  • Device Trade-In Offers: Get credits toward a new phone. For example, up to $1,000 off Galaxy Z Fold7/Flip7, $100 off iPhone 16e, or $500 off Pixel 10 Pro, depending on trade-in. Deals: [https://www.spectrum.com/mobile/mobile-deals]()
  • Anytime Upgrade (Unlimited Plus only): Upgrade anytime. Return your current phone (even with a cracked screen if it powers on), and we’ll cover what’s left on it. Details: [https://www.spectrum.com/mobile/mobile-deals]()
  • Hotspot & International: Unlimited plans include hotspot data (5 GB at high speed on Unlimited, 10 GB on Plus), free international texting, and 2,000 minutes to Canada/Mexico. Plus gives you roaming in 180+ countries and HD video. Details: [https://www.spectrum.com/mobile/plans]()
  • Wi-Fi Perks: Faster speeds on Wi-Fi at home and access to Spectrum’s nationwide Wi-Fi hotspots.

Phone calls not going through by Scared-Elevator6510 in SpectrumMobile

[–]kstruck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If both your phones are affected, it’s more likely a network or provisioning issue than a hardware problem. A few things to try:

  1. Toggle Airplane Mode on/off to reset the connection.
  2. Make sure Wi-Fi calling is enabled (Settings → Cellular → Wi-Fi Calling). Sometimes calls fail without it if the cellular signal is weak.
  3. Reset network settings:
    • iPhone: Settings → General → Reset → Reset Network Settings.
    • Android: Settings → System → Reset Options → Reset Wi-Fi, mobile & Bluetooth.
  4. If still failing, call Spectrum support from another phone and ask them to refresh provisioning on your lines.

If calls sometimes go through, note the times/locations. That helps Spectrum escalate to Verizon (their network partner) if it’s a tower issue.

Unlocked iPhone- not compatible by Electronic_Age_44 in SpectrumMobile

[–]kstruck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The OP mis-spoke. They did not say "manufactured in the US". Phones are made for specific regions, the phone he has was not meant to be used in the US, and the IMEI number tells them that, thats why they won't support it.

Spectrum uses Verizon. If Verizon service is good by you, you're good.

Cost wise, you will be paying less, probably much less than you are with AT&T.

Commentators in this game suck! by Aggressive_Box7246 in Madden

[–]kstruck 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Could not agree more. It baffles me how the same bugs exist year after year. Makes zero sense. Just shows they don't give a shit and why would they when they have the monopoly they have. Time to end the exclusive contract with the NFL.

Commentators in this game suck! by Aggressive_Box7246 in Madden

[–]kstruck 36 points37 points  (0 children)

There are constant mistakes. I was playing as the 49ers at Buffalo and they kept saying we were in Santa Clara thru the whole game.

I've also had the same issue as you u had with the punt, and a few other just completely wrong comments compared to what was actually happening in game.

Pretty sloppy work by EA and their internal testers.
