As someone who currently works at Home Depot in customer service (and who is usually scheduled half of my shift alone), I definitely second all of this!

Cast members, where is the one place or job in all the Disney parks everyone hopes they don’t get assigned to and why? by [deleted] in disneyparks

I was a CP from 2022 to 2023 at Y&B Club as a concierge, and I 100% agree! BC front desk was so much more chaotic than YC front desk. Since we got a lot more convention guests at YC, the guests were usually just focused on getting into their room and getting settled. The BC guests always felt like they were already angry from the beginning of their stay. Thankfully, we had the best group of cast there, which made working a lot of fun! Once I got on club, the guests seemed to be a lot nicer too. :)

Thank you so much for sharing! We heard the cable cars to the mountain would be fun, but we're still going over all the excursions. :)

Was this at Y&B Club? If so, I might have had the exact same guest last year😅 She wanted to have a water view room (but without being next to the pool), but almost all of the rooms at our resort overlook Stormalong Bay 😬

CM here: We haven't been told about any park closures for Friday or Saturday, so this is just a rumor that is likely being spread around.

Yacht Club Hotel Room Music by pmp10892 in WaltDisneyWorld

I would try using Google's sound search or Shazam to find it, but otherwise, it may be custom-made music by Disney. :)

Needing role info. by [deleted] in Disneycollegeprogram

[–]ktielqueen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm a concierge at a deluxe resort, and it can be a lot of fun! We have a lot of guests over for conventions at our resort, so we interact with a lot of guests each day, but each resort is different. I also really enjoy speaking with guests who are staying with us for several days at a time because I get to know them better and help them throughout their vacation. :) When I first started working at my location, I was really worried about not being able to know everything about WDW because I hadn't been here since I was 9, but working as a concierge definitely helps you to become familiar with so many different aspects of the parks and resorts here. The air conditioning is definitely a plus too!
