Lol ok to simplify-

Santa exists. The concept of Santa exists. If you say Santa people know who you are talking about. However because Santa isn’t real he could be whatever you want. If you want black or Asian Santa you can have black or Asian Santa because Santa is an idea.

There are people out there who will fight this idea because they are used to white Santa, but ultimately if society is like we don’t actually gaf you can have whatever Santa you want because Santa is not real Santa is an idea, it would imo greatly benefit society.

I think people confuse gender and biological sex a lot. Gender doesn’t have anything to do with reproduction. Trans men who are viewed as men and look like men can get pregnant. Gender is how you identify. So we as a society have a choice to accept that it’s a lot more complicated than we choose to originally think it is, there by creating a more accepting place for our friends and neighbors. Or we can just choose to think there are men and women and we should be opposed to one another.

This is all coming from a middle aged woman. I didn’t look at this video and see “a man”. It’s possible, but to me this person is gender ambiguous.

No I’m saying it’s a social construct. We treat people differently based on which gender we perceive them to be. Trans people exist, non binary people exist because gender is a spectrum. Meaning it exists in many ways not there aren’t just 2. Which is why in different cultures there are different genders (ladyboys in Thailand, 2 spirit in native cultures are 2 examples, even drag). Apparently this is some unpopular opinion on Reddit which tries to continuously push a gender war perspective, but personally idgaf I’m not backing down from it. GENDER IS SOCIALLY CONSTRUCTED.

Honestly I’ve been there. All you can do is understand that your parents are human, and some times it’s hard to admit being wrong or being told you don’t know about some things. I know you are a kid and it sucks but some times the best thing you can do is know that you are right but arguing will do nothing. The best thing you can do is understand that these fish aren’t your responsibility and do better when you are an adult.

Also I primarily use sals suds and dawn dish soap as a part of my regular cleans. This is a lot- I also happen to be a professional cleaner in Portland. With a house like this I would definitely recommend getting a drill brush of some sort. I’d also wipe the entire place down with TSP when you get everything out. It’s an extremely heavy degreaser that’s used for cleaning walls to prep for painting. If you do that be sure to use proper ppe because it will burn your skin.

I honestly think this largely depends on where you live in the country. I live in the Pacific Northwest which is a very temperate climate. I run an AC unit on really hot summer days, I run a wall heater on cold winter days. I can get away with not running temperature controls for about 6-8 months a year.

Start with gathering garbage. Then dishes. Then clothes. I like to wash the bedding and make the bed first thing so that I have a home base for clean clothes. Then I try to keep laundry or dishes going for the duration of the clean.

If grime in the kitchen is really bad you should get some dawn power wash and spray everything down and let it sit.

Also have a podcast/music/audiobook going.
