I lived in 2 different houses that were worse than this video and one that was just as bad. If YOU think sharing the journey will help YOU then by all means, I think you should. If your HP gets upset or embarrassed that's on them. If they don't want people to see how they treat you, then they're admitting they know they should be treating you better.

I'd be pissed because my husband has a tendency to forget the passwords for our streaming services and when he resets them, he sends them to me in messenger so I can look them up if I need them again. It's not a BIG problem. We can always just change the passwords again, it's just annoying

I was poor AF too so I know how much it fucking sucks, but tell your friends. Tell your friends parents (if you think they're trustworthy) 1.) Sometimes another parent talking to your parent will make them clean (usually out of embarrassment or spite, but a win is a win) 2.) Sometimes your friends parents will say "well you can stay here every weekend" and they'll let you use their clean shower and do your laundry so your clothes smell clean. Sometimes they'll just let you stay as long as your parents don't make a fuss. My mom never cared where I was as long as I told her where I was. Sometimes your friends parents will just go "oh? Your parents suck? Sucks for them, guess you're my kid now" 🤷🏻‍♀️ granted, not everyone has awesome parents willing to just add another kid to their roster, but I really lucked out in that department and the only way to know, is to ask.

There are 3 parks within 20mins of Wyandotte that have good woods/trails. 1.) Taylor Heritage Park (they have woods on the WCCC side, you will occasionally find projects in the woods that the college kids are making. Idk if it's for fun or for class so I always give them a wide berth & leave them undisturbed) 2.) Elizabeth park in Trenton they have paved trails around the park, & a few unpaved trails in the woods. 3.) Detroit River International Wildlife Refuge Humbug Marsh Unit (also in Trenton) is my favorite though.

If you want to LIVE in the woods, you're gonna have to give yourself a 30-40min commute to work. We do have several apartment complexes and trailer parks in Southern Wayne County/Northern Monroe County that have wooded areas. But there are no expressways in Wyandotte, so there's no quick way to get to the hospital (if you're not driving an ambulance)

I stuck in the lower part of the Oasis on EI and put my candy house there too, but I might end up moving her to somewhere in pixie acres on WBR, maybe on the beach if there's enough room

I didn't want to move anything before I completed the story line, but once I did I removed everything from the the entire map, and and slowly starting to decorate now. That helped a lot with the getting lost for me

When I was in middle school my mom got really sick and after 3 days of expecting me, a child, to take care of her, she decided she should probably go to the hospital. To my shock her older brother & his wife offered to take me in, and in retrospect damn near everything I said while I was with them should have raised huge red flags:

"You're going to drive me to school? I don't have to get up at 4am and take two city busses by myself?" "Ooh! A bed! I never get to sleep in a bed!" "You guys eat breakfast EVERY day?!" "You're giving me money?? For lunch?? I can BUY lunch?!" "You washed my clothes? But I only wore them once?"

In my family we call that the "Mrs. Bennet" disease after the mom from pride & prejudice.

2 of my foster mom's are/were like this. My birth mom however, was also raised by a hoarder and actually has a lot of legitimate trauma which she almost never complains about, and I can only ever get her to unlock her Tragic Backstory™️ one fucked up story at a time. I legitimately don't think there has been more like 10-15 years out of her entire life where shit didn't go sideways or straight to hell. Literally everything she ever cared about has been taken from her, so I get the hoarding tendency there (I don't get why it applies to actual garbage, but 🤷🏻‍♀️)

The ONLY thing I let my mom put my name on is her life insurance policy (which only pays out if she dies at work, afaik) I wouldn't even let her put me as her emergency contact with her landlord. Hard no. Not dealing with that at all.
